Just like the other games from Casual Arts - hidden object, then annoying mini game just about every other HOG scene. Scenes were good for autumn and got you in the Halloween spirit but otherwise nothing new or challenging. I'll recommend the game for kids but for adults who are experienced gamers would probably be boring.
And kind of boring! The garden items are rather small and don't really enhance much until you get a lot more in and still not all that impressive. Those who live for mahjong games might like it - I yawned continuously.

Lots of HOGS but entirely too many mini games most of which were boring and one where you had to follow a map to do the game - map was practically illegible. Ok game to pass the time if you're bored with the usual have to buy the collector's edition/strategy guide games which seems to be the norm these days. Will recommend only for that reason.

This has to be one of the dumbest games I've ever purchased and only did because I love oceans and undersea games. You don't give a player name, tutorial is poor at best (usually do a relaxed mode first time I buy a game then advanced) and you have your guy swimming around in the ocean with you guiding him by keeping the left side of the mouse down and if you don't guide him right he keeps bonking his head into rocks or goes too deep and you wipe him out all to find some faint sparkles in the water for the objects you need.
Don't waste time or money on this dud. I uninstalled it after three go rounds.

If you're looking for a game to wile away the hours without maiden in peril, doom and gloom, and running back and forth from one scene to another you'll enjoy the Roads of Rome games. There's really no challenge to them - construct buildings and build roads (have to admit RoR III was harder) but the music is good and fits the era, instructions are clear and love watching the little workers run around especially the one who doesn't seem to like to be in boats - whimpers every time he has to get into one and cross a lake/ocean, what have you.
So, if you're looking for a relaxing game you won't go wrong on this one or the other RoR.
I recommend this game!

I don't know why you would need a strategy guide on this. For an experienced "fishie" it was very straightforward. You got the opportunity to collect numerous hints (blue crystals), HOS were easy and overall game though just ok was very easy. A good game to ease your brain and get away from the doom and gloom so prevalent in games these days.
Loved Jewel Match Snowscapes so bought Jewel Match 3 and disliked it so was hesitant to buy this one. Took the plunge and love it. This time it's building castles which is great. The jewels are beautifully colored and the music is very soothing when you want a game without noise, explosions or gloom. Of course it gets more difficult as you go along but that's part of the fun and you have a relaxed mode. One thing that's a big plus is NO MINI GAMES which irks me no end on games where you have one every other scene. There are bonus games (mahjong) which are very challenging and earn extra gold. This is a great game.
The legendary hero Hercules and his wife Megara are back, ready to embark on their next adventure! Restore the world's beauty and save Mother Nature from destruction!
The usual dorky Hercules and some very imaginative levels, i.e.,time portals, submarines and Hercules' evil twin. However, this first came out as a collector's edition which I purchased and now a regular SE which doesn't make me happy but the game is well worth it.
I recommend this game!

Dracula: Love Kills Collector's Edition
The Queen of Vampires is back and is determined to destroy the world! Help Van Helsing and Dracula as they team up to stop her!
Lots of HOS scenes which I like and an interesting story line of Dracula and Van Helsing off to find Mina Harker. However, entirely too many mini games which for the most part were annoying and I skipped over.
This game has beautiful graphics which always hooks me into buying a game. However, there is not really a lot of instruction on this telling you what to do - some screens a mystery. Not to sound vague but the game to me is vague and haven't played to the end yet. May or may not; something to work at when bored with everything else I own and no new games out of interest.
