I wasted a free game code on this really boring and not at all fun game. It moved very slowly, really didn't have much of an idea of what I was supposed to be accomplishing other than finding hidden objects and really no tutorial. Will read reviews in the future before buying a game because it's hidden object which I love.
I normally enjoy games of this type but this really had nothing that held my interest. I think this is more of a child's game; as an adult was bored for the most part. Graphics were OK but for a game set in that era the buildings were out of synch and rather ugly.
After inheriting an old antique shop, Emily discovers an odd diary that seems to contain a number of clues as to the book's origin. As she delves deeper into the mystery, what she uncovers will change her forever.
This is strictly a HOS game with a mini puzzle after each level. I love HOS but with variety and this has very little. Some of the objects are very small and the game quality is not that great - fuzzy and dark in areas which make it difficult to find the hidden objects. This game is by Pop Cap Games which developed Vacation Quest Hawaii and Australia which to me were far superior in quality and had the added advantage of being able to skip the mini games. This one doesn't which is annoying for me since I'm not a fan of constant mini games.
If the above doesn't bother you go for it. Am not sure whether I would recommend it or not so am leaving that blank.
Frankly I was bored. Usually like Match 3 and made a mistake buying it after reading the positive reviews and ignoring the negative. Make the matches, build; make the matches, build.
Extremely juvenile. Keep this type of game for the kids.
I loved the different "tanks" and am a great fan of HOS so had a hard time stopping this game. You accumulate money to buy fish, decorations and comfort items for your "pets" and it's easy enough for kids to play.
This is not the easiest HOS believe me - objects at times are very small, buried in something that you can barely see it and the fish swimming by obscure it.
It's definitely a challenge for those who like this type of thing and not for those who want a relaxing game.
And a knock-off of "Paradise Quest" which to me was more challenging and more interesting. After playing PQ was familiar with moving boards so no sweat but just couldn't get up the same amount of interest.
So won't recommend or not recommend will just comment.
But not particularly outstanding and same-O, same-O like the other park ranger games - hidden object, mini games, ditto, ditto. The hidden objects are very small but that makes the game challenging.
Downside for me is it's very annoying to keep having a mini game after each hidden object scene - to me that's overdoing it but then am not a fan of mini games.
Overall a decent game to pass the time.
I recommend this game!
