So I purchased the Collector Edition and the main game was ok but but it's the bonus content that got silly. In the main game I have an umbrella to pull down a ladder situated on the left of my screen, but no matter where on the ladder I tried it wouldn't allow my to use it. I had to click hint and it highlighted the upper middle of the screen where a roof of another building is. Like what the heck?? In the bonus game, same situation - the obstacles are staples. What do I have in my inventory but a staple remover. Seems like a match but no matter where I click nothing happens. I went and checked the guide and it indeed said to use the stapler remover to remove said staples but it doesn't work for me so sadly I stopped the game and moved on. I'm disappointed that these situations happened as I wasn't able to finish the bonus game. The devs really need to fix these types of issues.
If anyone has the collector's edition and knows where I'm suppose to click in the bonus game to keep moving forward I'd appreciate a holler. Hint was no help.
I've contacted tech support so hopefully this will be corrected soon.
And yes it's the same for all previous 7 but that's what makes this fun. I'm still hooked on playing these ones despite the fact that I've played all 8 of them numerous times. I think the fact that they're a bit cheesy and the games are all pretty much the same but it's entertaining and that's a big part of the fun. I love that they visit different places and stopping in different ports and that's just all part of the charm and entertainment for these.

One of the shortest MCF games I've played. Graphics were good as always. Storyline was ok but I really found this game just way too short so was disappointed in that regard. Puzzles were ok but description of what you need to do wasn't always clear. Collector's bonus story was drab, way too easy and again WAY TOO short for a collector's edition.
Yes I recommend the game but not worth paying the extra cost for the Collector's Edition.
Game is super relaxing BUT it did lose a star because I really dislike the fact that it doesn't tell you how many recycled items are in the scene. At least in other Vacation Adventures games the garbage bin lid closes so you know you found them all. I ended up replaying scenes just so I could locate the items causing the game to drag on. While I like other future Vacation Adventures games & will recommend those, I'm not sure if this is a game I would recommend unless you're not OCD like me.
graphics are beautiful and game was entertaining...definitely needed one to take my mind off of the craziness of our current pandemic world.
I recommend this game!

game was great. love that objects you required were not kept for long periods of time...usually used within the following several scenes. nice clear graphics, good vo. loved the segmented story. found myself looking for the next piece so i could get the next part of the story. i bought the se and wish i spent the extra bit on the ce but overall excellent game. puzzles were not difficult but you could switch between hos or mahjong. good variety. still wish some were at least a bit harder.
Game was engaging, enchanting and fun. Superb graphics and pleasant soundtrack. I liked that the soundtrack wasn't always the same four notes replayed.
My only dislike was I finished it the same day I bought it. Wish it went on longer!! I bought the CE version & was glad of it as the bonus game added just a bit more to the already fantastic story.
I would rate myself an experience HOG'er so I'm forever looking for HOG's that last at least for a few days OR alternatively ones that always have a different ending, example MCF Prime Suspects.
