I love it. It is a bit old school, but some of the best games were made back then. Frustrating at times when I fall through the trap door, and lose precious gold. But I am hooked, so nice to play something different for a change. Only gripe is can't have multiple players.
Good game, excellent graphics. Very similar to many of these types of time management games with a few extra twists. Not sure why it is a collectors edition though. Just some wallpapers...that's it? No Strategy guide, artwork, music or extras really. Will get it. but will wait for the standard version.

This game was not a hidden object. It was a match 3 and a pretty bad one at that. Nothing really exciting, interesting or challenging. Would not waste a free game coupon on it.

I have bought all the previous Royal Envoy games and re-play them again every so often. This one is very similar to the last 2 (Royal Envoy 2 and Campaign for the Crown) but I believe the developers are listening. This game has the full relaxed mode, be it 1 minute or 1 hour will let you finish and achieve all goals. The normal timed is challenging, though I don't think it is as hard as previous editions. After getting through all the levels, then comes the expert level, Now that is pretty tough. Have to get most things exact or 3 stars is very hard to get. Plenty of achievements to go for, some the same as previous games, but a few new ones tossed in to keep it interesting, and some quite difficult to achieve. All in all, its as you expect from Playrix. Great graphics, good game play, challenging and fun. Some people may want to turn off the music and volume if you don't like the constant talking of the workers. Definitely a keeper for me.

I downloaded the trial and before I knew it my time ran out. As it so happened I had a couple of free game coupons and bought it so I could continue playing. A really good game. I am not the expert player and when too hard I have to keep referring to walkthrough to continue. This one is easier, but with still some challenge. Great value for a standard edition game.

The game play reminds me a bit of Royal Envoy, I enjoy the challenge of working out the strategy to reach gold. The graphics are quite good and the mechanics of the game seems to work well so far. Can't really decide if it is Collectors Edition quality as much of the extras are locked till you finish. There is an option to play timed or relaxed which I know suits many. I suggest try it.

I hardly ever review a game, unless they are really fantastic, or in this case....really really awful. Reviews are not always 100% reliable, you can never keep everyone happy. Do not waste your money on this. I have never played anything more boring...ever!!!!!!

It really is a good game. I have been so eager for RE 2 to be released. My initial reaction was mildly disappointed as I felt they were trying to bring all the 'other' time management game ideas and roll them all into one. It is more of a click fest now, which is often what turns me off other TMG's. What I orignally loved the most about the first RE is the stategy and challange of how to get that gold star. This edition so far is much less challenging. I agree with many of the other reviews about the tax collectors, and upgrading of houses. That made it more fun and, yes, maybe a little more difficult to figure out how to use the workers/collectors etc to get the best and fastest results. The game is still very good, but just has lost some of that special magic that made the original RE one of my favorite games. Still great value for money, lots of levels and good replay. Great graphics and the imagination of their creation team is boggling. Definately a keeper.

What a brilliant piece of work this game is. One of the best I've ever come across. The graphics are fantastic, the replay value and challenge is excellent. I have played over and over again, making new players and going through until I've got a gold star in expert level. The added addition of the bonus games just give you a bit more of the same..but what fun. I tried to get my husband to try this game, but he stubbornly refused saying "oh its just one of those building games - I'm not into them." Finally I convinced him to try it and sure enough he is also hooked. I have recommended this game to friends and all that have gotten it love it. Don't assume it is 'just a building game' I have tried all the others build type games and they don't appeal to me at all. This game is just pure challenge and fun as long as you give it a chance to start getting interesting. The first level's are super easy, so you feel it is a bit boring...but oh no..its just getting your ability up ready for the further challenges. The other beauty of this game is that you don't have to get a gold star to continue, you can still advance and as your skills improve and your thought stategy improves you can come back to it, tackle it again and master it. I know you will enjoy it.
