I am NOT an Elvis fan...I mean, he's cool and all, but I'm a little young to be a die-hard...but, this game was a LOT of fun! I enjoyed the game play, I enjoyed the mini games...the HOS were not too cluttered and the pace of the game was great. It was enjoyable, moderately easy, and the artistry and music was great. I feel like I got a real look into Graceland, and Man, is it gaudy! The game made me smile, and the final song and movie was good enough for me to listen and watch all the way through (not common for me). If you are a fan of the The King, you will LOVE this game, and if you are not, you may just learn some things about his life...I know I did! Overall, worth the game credit.
I really enjoyed this game. I am usually disappointed by SE games, but this one was long enough and involved enough to keep my interest. It was VERY creepy, and the characters were interesting, as well as the storyline. Being a detective is nothing new, but getting to jump between two worlds is fun and exciting! The artwork is great and the voiceovers are believable. The warped world is so spooky, and there was a lot of things to do...not too difficult, but made you think. Overall, one of my favorite SE games on Big Fish!
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
This game is all you expect from the Haunted Halls collection, and a very good CE. Creepy, and sometimes humorous graphics. Very well thought out storyline. Lots and lots of things to do and puzzles to solve! Not too hard, not easy. I love the kangaroo! This game is worth the money.
After playing only the demo of this game, I am totally hooked! I immediately bought it... The visual and sound are top notch. It's like an animated movie that I control...the cutscenes are awesome, and the voiceovers, which I usually skip through, are interesting and enchanting. I love HOGs and Adventure games, but have been quite bored with them lately, and this game renewed my love! Fun, fast gameplay, great hints, great map, and there is SO MUCH to do in every scene! The storyline is awesome...GIRL POWER! And I like the fragmented HOS. Like I said, I've only played the trial, and I am compelled to give this game its props already! Looks like I won't be getting anything done for the next couple hours, because I'm hooked! A definite buy!
Pros: long game, good hints, good mini games, nice scenery, music and voiceovers...and this game was quite different than most of the other HOGs on this site.
Cons: BORING! Boring story, boring gameplay, dark and dreary. I like the whole psychic detective thing, but this could have been a lot better with a more interesting storyline. I found myslef skipping through the dialog quickly because it just wasn't interesting. I really wanted to love this game..and I didn't hate it, but I was just so bored, and actually couldn't wait for it to end. Wish I had spent my $15 on something else.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed this game thoroughly! Fun adventure, fun story...and very fun game play! I love games where the map can take you to places without backtracking, and the hints were extremely useful. The HOS were moderately easy (on casual mode) and the artwork and scenery was beautiful. The storyline was humorous, which is a nice break from the gloomy, sad storylines of many HOGs and it was a pleasant surprise that my name was incorporated into the dialog. I played the game on Casual mode, so the level of challenge was just OK, but I'm looking forward to trying it again in a month on Hard mode. Overall, it was a good game, worth the $4.99 that it cost this weekend. The only downfall is the length...would be cool if it was a CE, and a lot longer.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game...it was long, sometimes painful, but mostly fun. I love Vampires, and the story was great...I like that you make choices that affect the outcome and affect the choices you're able to make later. The HOS were a little tricky, as there was not much color, but it is a Vampire game, so always at night. I enjoy a challenge. Mini games were not too challenging, but fun. The only negative was there was no animation, aside from a few videos, that weren't even really animated. The dialog was between characters that appear on the screen, in the same position...although the voiceovers were good. Map to jump from place to place, which I really appreciate, fast loading hints, and no need for a notebook, or log to keep clues...things pretty much stay in their general area, and puzzles are solved within a few scenes. Overall, I enjoyed the game, enjoyed making consequential choices, and enjoyed the length. I just wish the character interaction and movement was a little less elementary.
This game is long, and kept my attention, but lacked a little bit of the animation qualities of other CE's and had no voiceovers, which was annoying. Also, no notebook to write clues in, and no map. I enjoyed the story, and the HOS were good. The scenery was beautiful, and some of the objects were tricky to find. One very irritating point is it took a long time to move from one scene to the next, almost as if my computer was running slow, but it wasn't. Also, if you had to complete a task that required doing more than one thing, it took FOREVER for the computer to complete the task (ie. pulling nails out of boards...took almost as long as it would have taken in real life!) I bought the game and enjoyed playing it, but not as much as other CEs.

This is only the second review I've ever written, but felt compelled to give this game its props! I absolutely loved it! It felt like a movie, that I controlled. The graphics were beautiful, the dialog was awesome, the storyline was awesome! The map was great help, and allowed you to move from scene to scene without retracing all of you steps, as well as allowed you to view where active areas were. The hints basically brought you to the map, and I never wondered what to do next. I've bought literally hundreds of HOGS and adventure games from BF, and particularly love the CE's. This one is worth its weight in gold. The gameplay was fun, and the HOS were perfect, not too hard, not too easy. I was mezmerised, and hooked right away, and it brought me to another place, like a good game should. I played it from beginning to end without stopping to use the bathroom. What an amazing game...I wish they were all like this. Now, I have to go play the bonus adventure...BUY THIS GAME!!

This is my first review, but I've played hundreds of games on Big Fish. I really enjoyed this game, because it was different for me. I am a HOG fanatic, but enjoy something different every now and then. It made me think, due to no walkthrough, and very vague hints. It was cute, funny, and pretty challenging. I wish it was a little longer, but totally worth the money. Similar to Tiny Bang Story, but a little easier to figure out and HOS. I want more games like this!
