This game is so chock full of puzzles that if you like that kind of thing, I would suggest that you try this one. I had a really good time making my way through this. While the puzzles aren't overly hard, they're different and interesting. Glad I picked this one up.
The game is a bit old fashioned in some ways but the artwork is done well. All around enjoyable few hours of puzzle-mania!
I recommend this game!
From the makers of the Rite of Passage series comes a ground-breaking new series that's as creepy as it gets.

What a fabulous ride! I was totally immersed in this game the entire time, including the Bonus Chapter. Mad Head does it again - this time with bells and whistles!
Not as creepy as I was led to believe it would be - which was just fine with me, but just creepy enough.
Do try this one, I don't think you will be disappointed!
I recommend this game!

Playing the trial was enough to convince me that this will not be a purchase for me. No amount of great animation, pleasant music and interesting storyline will cover up for poorly designed gameplay.
The HO scenes and the puzzles were OK, but the adventure aspect of the game was rife with illogical, ridiculous tasks giving you illogical, ridiculous results.
I had great fun looking at the game, enjoyed listening to the game...I just did not have fun actually playing the game.
I don't recommend this game.
All the adults have vanished. Is this a child's dream, or nightmare?

The Surface games have always had a sort of "Otherworldly" aspect to them that I found interesting. This one is just another creepy orphanage, disappearing people, run of the mill story that is old and has been done a million times.
I was looking forward to a more interesting adventure so this didn't thrill me one bit. Won't be going beyond the trial this time.
I don't recommend this game.

Glad I gave this game a chance, it gave me several very pleasant hours. While the game isn't overly difficult, there's a nice pace to it and it keeps you moving along smoothly.
The HO scenes were typical for this developer - more interesting than just simple piles of stuff and the mini-games were kind of cool.
Others here have talked about the story and all the other details so I won't get all into that, too. After playing through the entire game, I sort of wished I had sprung for the C.E. on this one. Very enjoyable several hours!
I recommend this game!
Team up with the Red Riding Hood Sisters to defeat the nightmares!

I played the trial for about 20 minutes and found myself getting angry! I generally play games to have fun, not get annoyed but unfortunately that is how I found myself.
For the most part, all I did was unlock one thing to find a piece to unlock something else, which once unlocked gave me something to unlock another thing. And that was about it.
No amount of lovely artwork, interesting characters and pleasant music can make up for boring and tedious gameplay. This is a big pass for me.
I don't recommend this game.
In this ghostly continuation of the Fear for Sale series, you've discovered a luxury ocean liner bears an eerie resemblance to a ship that vanished years ago.

This was a nice long game - not overly challenging except to remember where all the inventory items went - mostly unlocking one thing to find an item to unlock something else. The jump map was helpful for a lot of this kind of "back and forth" business which was on the verge of being annoying but skated by...
The story line was kind of cool and I enjoyed the voices, music, artwork and scenery. You don't have to work too hard to make your way through the game so I would say it's a relaxing, easy ride. The H.O. scenes were sort of interesting and while the puzzles were fairly simple, some were not to my taste.
While it sounds like I'm mostly complaining and I'm not raving about this one, I actually did find the game gave me several pleasant hours, and I do recommend it!
I recommend this game!

While this game did not quite measure up to the first version, it was still great! Just the music and the scenery were enough to keep me happy!
The story was interesting and I felt a sense of urgency to hurry up and solve the mystery - but at the same time, I enjoyed the journey...every step of the way.
The hidden object scenes were interesting and fun and while the puzzles for the most part were not particularly difficult - they too were original and interesting.
The game did seem a tiny bit on the short side...but then again, time does fly when you're having fun! I recommend this game, absolutely!

This game allowed me a few rather pleasant hours. I won't say it was my favorite - it just didn't excite me very much, but there isn't a lot to complain about either.
The story was interesting and although you kind of knew who did what and why fairly early, there was still a bit of mystery involved. I liked the music and the scenery.
The game play was smooth except for one glitch that forced me to skip a puzzle. That was annoying. I enjoyed the hidden object puzzles, they were interesting and more complex than a normal junk pile type.
As for the bonus chapter, it was O.K. but the story was solidly finished after the main game so the S.E. version would be just fine.
Sorcerer's apprentice Anton has accidentally reset the teleporter's destination and he must now face an extremely dangerous test.

This game didn't get very much attention but I really enjoyed the trial and went ahead and used a coupon for it. I like having a few games like this on my computer so I can play for a bit when I'm not in the mood for a complicated adventure style game.
The game play is simple but there's a small amount of strategy involved to getting a good score. It has just enough of a challenge to keep it a bit interesting without being very hard. It's relaxing. I like that I can replay a level and and upgrade my score. Nice little "Time Waster"!
I recommend this game!
