So glad it's over ! Disappointing game -no change there then ! Very frustrating mini puzzles. Could not even get my head around some of them - certainly didn't enjoy them. Only about 3 things to do in each room. No sparkly things whatsoever. Dull and lifeless, pretty much throughout. HOB games seem to be getting worse and worse.
I finished it in an afternoon. Short game short bonus. Only four things to do in each room/area. Looks as though it's two games stuck together -people go from being nice and plump to pipe-cleaner skinny. It's a miracle really! Wait 'til it's in the sale - my advice.
I don't recommend this game.

Mystery Tales: Alaskan Wild Collector's Edition
Call on the animal spirits to help find your sister.
Was drawn to this game because of the fantastic sparkle from the wand at the menu. (Yes, I know) Not a HOB fan. Thought the graphics were a bit more advanced most of the way through. Although, they did deteriorate considerably in the bonus . Most of the puzzles are the irritating ones - block moving, where the tiles are just unmanageable. Repetative puzzles. Puzzles where you have to make all the blocks the same colour. Untangle the knitting - all the usuals sadly. And a couple of pairing games (which I like.) Felt that it was quite short for an HOB but maybe that's because I skip all the puzzles I don't enjoy doing ! Overall, I was disappointed.
The legendary hero Hercules and his wife Megara are back, ready to embark on their next adventure! Restore the world's beauty and save Mother Nature from destruction!
Only played the demo. I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to buy this one, despite having bought the previous ones. They have not changed or tried to improve on previous games which were in themselves , not great. Sorry. Ps. Time management is my favourite genre.
I would say that I am an intermediate player at TM games. I am an avid fan and in fact, these are the only games I really enjoy. I love the idea of this game. However ; these constructive criticisms are ones that I have said before with other new games - It is too tiny and fiddly. I think it needs more colour. More variety. More sparkles and glitter and magic. Less compulsory, ballooning, storyline. Level of challenge is WAY too high. I have had to play this in relaxed mode and I am an experienced player who does like a challenge but not stress. The beads, I think they are a good idea but I found I missed some of them due to the stress of concentrating on the strategy of the game and getting that done quick enough to pass the level. I am glad I found the relaxed mode-that meant I could at least play my purchase. Overall it's very welcome -we do not have enough TM games and people have been crying out for more of these but it does need improving. Please bring more.
I recommend this game!

Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Tracks of Terror Collector's Edition
Can werewolves be cured, or will one family’s curse continue?
I don't want to shoot animals and watch them bleed. Don't like the "how did I die?" magnifying glass stuff. Don't like that cat that is always yowling in the background in this series. Don't like that childish "draw around the shape" business in order to shoot the wolf. Graphics are a bit out-dated. Sound is always too loud and repetitive. Played in a very dis-jointed manner for me. Think the story is probably ok.
Beautiful journeys into vivid, fantasy OIL PAINTINGS - brush strokes, thick paint, canvass, all visible for you to admire with lovely, varied music as your emotional guide.
Colours are fantastic (just wait 'til you get to the swamp scene - have a look around, it's magical.)
Plays beautifully.
I am thoroughly enthralled with this game. I am definitely not a HOG fan.
In Delicious: Emily's Home Sweet Home, you need to help the O'Malleys repair their dream house. Can you make it a real home? Hurry up, or it might be condemned!
I actually follow the story that goes along with these games too- a rarity for me, I don't usually bother too much.
Some levels I have found pretty challenging and one level at the fairground ( where you cannot feed the children fried food or drinks) I still haven't mastered - after 7 tries !
I usually quite like this series (although not a fan at all of hidden object games). This one - hmm, was not very good. Liked the variety ie "memory" game, but the "story pages" - where you have to find the missing object and put it in its' correct spot, were way too frequent and I found I didn't give a monkeys about the story half way through anyway. #I rarely do in HO games#. HO pages were way too dark and blurry so I could never see objects tucked away on the far right or far left. Music got very tedious turned it off. As I say, I deleted it before getting close to the end. Overall just irritating. sorry
