I just love the Dana Knightstone games. It has a spark over it that makes it different, ignoring the fact that most of the games are, sadly, too short and too easy.
This game, based on the demo, was fantastic. I didn't get to see much of the game, but it was lovely. It's definitely a buy for me.
The story is about Gabriela, a ghost who was murdered in what seems like a lighthouse. Gabriela's love, Silvio Torres, was accused of murdering her. But as we know from the other Dana Knightstone games, of course he didn't. You control Dana in the journey to finally free Silvio Torres' spirit from the endless burden.
The game starts out gory, not sure if it continues. You get a small jumpscare here and there, nothing to worry about.
I was really excited when i saw this game was out, I love the Grim Tales series, and this looked like a promising one. I bought the game, installed and began playing.
As I started the game, the graphics were amazing. When I hit play, the quality seemed a bit poor in the small clip, showing the aunt driving to her niece's school to pick her up from a possible threat. The first hidden objects scene was, to be completely honest, disappointing, ugly and VERY jumbled. Either the adults at the school weren't mature enough to pick the toys up, or the kids are very ungrateful. I was disappointed how there wasn't a penalty for randomly clicking, but I guess that's also nice if you are stuck(?)
The aunt has to find her niece, Jackie, but has terrible luck. Children are going berserk. You should think Blackhill once was a mental hospital where the spirits were still haunting. The first scene had some great scenery, the music was out of place though. It didn't exactly fit the story so far.
The game was fun, had the quality and sound, a bit out of place sometimes, random HO-scenes (as always...) and a great storyline. The challenge was too easy though (I'm an avid gamer, so it might be easy for me. I don't know)
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
This game was just amazing! I was confused at first though. You didn't really get much information about the storyline, and it seems the title doesn't really play a part in this game (except for the tribe). But all in all, I loved it.
The spiritual drawings (auto-drawings) were a bit annoying though. You had to match some drawings with the scene, and when you had matched all, you'd go back to the psychic, and then she'll read them. Some puzzles were a bit repetitive, but that's okay; I enjoyed them.
I got a lot of jumpscares through out, but I love games with a little horrific scare.
The game was a bit short, but I guess I was quick?
The quality of this game was really great, and I loved how you searched some scenes with night-vision goggles.
Only thing I didn't like, was the hidden object scenes. I don't like how you had to go around, instead of just one place. You didn't know if you had missed an object in one area.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
This game is not for the younger audiences. I enjoyed it to the max, and got a real scare too. Spinechilling screams, one or two jumpscares, violent scenes and much more.
This game gave me a real challenge. Some puzzles seemed impossible, others were quite easy.
The morphing objects is a new thing. I loved it, and hope to see more of it.
This is the best game i've ever played. It's dark, spooky, emotional (for me), epic, fun, sad etc. The quality was amazing. The sound could be a bit annoying at times, but doesn't really bother me. I can surely see, that this is created by the people who made Queen of Spades. They are both my faves. Storyline almost made me cry. The girl and her father that burned in the house. Uff, creepy. Challenging. I recommend this game.
