The storyline is interesting. The Hidden Object Scenes are easy to play. There are a few mini games but fewer than most HOG's. The trouble with this game is that it's not that intuitive to play. There is no way I could have completed it without following the walkthrough.
I recommend this game!

I played the trial and wondered if there was more to the game. After reading the other reviews, I knew it wasn't just me. The graphics are OK, but there is way too much useless dialog.
Like another person said, it would have been so much more fun if I could have picked out the wall paper, paint colors, choose garden elements, etc. That is what I thought I was going to get by the title. Just holding down the mouse while cleaning up various scenes is way too simple. I wouldn't even call them mini games.
The plusses to this game are that you have a chance to earn a hint in each scene if you have used hints. They only let you have a maximum of 5 at a time. The other plus is that the objects are a decent size and findable. If someone wants an easy to play game, with little challenge, this one is for you.
This game had potential if they just put some zip into it to make it more interactive.
I don't recommend this game.

Although playing this game has not been quite as frustrating as the first one, many of the hidden objets are impossible to find without using Hints. I only played for the one hour trial, but there was only one main mini game for the spells in that time period Finding Keys to unlock magic chests with powers raises the game from 2 Stars to 3.
I don't recommend this game.

The hidden object scenes are routine but at least you can find the items. There is also a special treasure item to be found in most scenes. There are a variety of scenes and you only play a couple locations twice. What makes this game special are the variety of mini games throughout the game. There is a unique one for each chapter. The mystery story line is well developed and keeps you guessing until the end.
I recommend this game!

Luckily there were some tips in the Forum. Otherwise it would have been impossible to finish. A number of the hidden objects are impossible to find without hints. The story is OK but nothing special.
I bought it because it was on sale. Otherwise don't waste your money.
