I remember playing the beta game, and found it boring then, and I do now, I've played the other games in the series, without any problems at all, this time however awful, what have they done, run out of ideas I think! There's no story line, it's literally a HOG, which I've no liking of at all. It's time management, as well, and I don't like that at all I'm very disappointed in this game, and I won't be buying it, sorry Big Fish
It's about a mum having to rescue her daughter, doing HOS and puzzles throughout the game, and now and again you see your daughter, and she begs you to find her. At one point, you see what is meant to be your husband, but it's not, then you find out who it is, they try to stop you doing something, but they don't count on a mother's powerful love for her daughter. I loved every second of the game, I look forward to playing the next one
This game is a mixture of games, you have adventure, time management, puzzles, and HOS, you have 5 minutes to do each one, and some are not easy, you have to complete the picture, decode letters from Santa. The reason I went for this game was it had Elvis Presley, not Elvis exactly, but his sunglasses, Elvis is supposed to have given a pair to Santa, and I'm a huge fan of Elvis. I didn't realise that the game had time management in it, I found out while playing it, as I said Elvis Presley is mentioned, and that was enough for me, great fun You don't have to be a fan to enjoy it, so don't let that stop anyone in choosing it
I thought this story was about evil, you have a guy going around turning everyone into stone, and you have to defeat, ASAP, you find objects are your journey that help you. It's starts off at the museum, the women has already been turned into stone, you are warned not to look into the guys eyes, that's what turns you, you have HOS and puzzles to do, some hard, some easy. The ending was a complete surprise for me, hence my title, the story is all about love, and the women who dies, and the daughter. I no others will enjoy this game as much as I did
I really enjoyed the game, the graphics are excellent as is the story, the only annoying thing is the transition between scenes it comes up 'loading'. You have to sort out different puzzles, dividing pictures, to defeat the spirit, also HOS and a puzzle where you use paints. You meet an old timer, who says there's something bad, and you should avoid it, you go to a place where there's a child in a sack, when you let the child go, the evil spirit is released, then both the child and the old timer vanish. I really enjoyed the game, some of the puzzles were challenging, but others may find them OK
What a great game, and an ending that leaves it wide open, you have several puzzles to get through, and plenty of HOS, you also have an annoying, 'Pixie', there are plenty of battles using your sword, some I could do, some I couldn't get my head around at all, the man is trying to stop you at every turn, you have to get the sword, and it's not easy, and just when you thought you were home and dry, it's the end. I'm not very good at reviews, so I am sorry, but I do hope that I help someone
What an enchanting game, so sweet, it made a change from the dark and sinister games that seem to be the 'in' thing, I remember playing the Beta version, and I was delighted to see it had been released, I missed the C/E some how. You have to find your dad, and the rat wants his rent money, you manage to pay some of it, but you have to find the rest, you meet up with different characters throughout the game. I loved every second of it, although one part of the game was a challenge for me. To find out more play the game, and then buy it, you won't be sorry you did
This is only based on the demo, I stuck with the game as long as I could, be in the end I had to come out of it, which wasn't easy, I couldn't find the menu button for a start, then I used the Windows button to come out of the game, and it worked, thank goodness, and I did look. All I did is watch little boxes of conversation go up on the left hand side of the screen, nothing else happened, I did try to hurry on the game by selecting appropriate replies, but that didn't work. Other people may like the game, they may be more patient than me, but from me it's a definite NO
Even though the game has dark moments, it's a love story as well, the graphics a amazing, and the story is excellent, I did refer to the guide with some puzzles, but that's what it's there for, right. It didn't take me long to play the game, as I really enjoyed it, so I wanted to play it even more. I know for a fact that other people will enjoy the game, and hopefully the man, who I've forgotten the name of, will find out what the markings are on his face, it's great that you have a skull icon on the Inventory, and he helps you at different times in the game
What a delightful game, there was no darkness, or creepiness, so thank you for that. You can have a little helper, he's a young tree, and he will help you reach far off objects, it does say that if you don't want to use him, it won't affect the story, but he's soo cute, you can't resist him. I loved every second of this game, and the ending is so sad, I really hope they do another game. You do have to stop the chief witch, but you use your own magic to do that, you collect ingredients to make the potions you need. At the end of the bonus game you have to make sure that the gate is closed, then your little helper walks off, all sad, a women goes to get him, but it doesn't actually show if she does, so who knows
