I'm writing this because I have read so many negative reviews and I don't understand why. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Yes, it is similar to the Katy and Bob games, but I thought this one was easier some how. When I played one of the Katy and Bob games, I never purchased it because I couldn't keep up and it frustrated me. Just think of how many games are just like the Delicious Emily games, yet people still buy them, including me. I find it comforting to play a game where I recognize the mechanics so I don't have to waste time learning how to play it, I can just sit and relax playing it. Sometimes derivative is good!
I absolutely loved this game. I look forward to more like this. So relaxing. I love finding little gems like this that are different from typical games. Please game designers, make more!!!!
I wasn't sure, if I would enjoy this kind of game, but I was in the mood for something new. I bought this game, and loved it, so I purchased the other two games in the series. I have since played each game 3 times, and I really hope they make more of these fun turn based games. I was very surprised to see some negative reviews because I enjoyed them so much. I like that there is replay value since if you chose a certain path the game goes one way, and if you chose another path other fights become available. I really hope Big Fish will offer more of these type of games in the future.
I am always on the look-out for games that don't fall into the usual categories, and I must say this game was a breath of fresh air. I love games that are challenging, and make me use my brain. This game filled the bill. I have played it three times now, and can imagine myself playing it again and again. it is randomized so it has loads of replay value. It reminds me of two of my favorite games as a kid: Battle Ship, and Clue. There are funny characters where bad events happen in the rooms of a large house like in Clue. It uses a grid system to allow us to eliminate suspects and possibilities like in Battle Ship. My only complaint about this game is that as you progress, the icons get very small, and that is when you can accidentally mis-click on icons and lose chances. But, over-all, I loved this game! I wish they had made a sequel.
This is a cute time management game. It is challenging, but not too hard or frustrating as some games can be. Cute graphics and fun upgrades to use. I hope they come out with a sequel soon.
