Another in the series. The premise of the series is that the action takes place in New York in what is probably the 1920's. The main character is a woman journalist and she is part of a secret organisation. In this story a painting comes to life and the woman has to pursue the creature which came out from the picture. There are 3 stories in the collector's edition - or you can wait for the ordinary edition. For me there are more games than action - the game tends to lose the urgency of the chase.
I recommend this game!

After loading the first game is to find 20 jewels. The following games include a sliding picture puzzle and another 'finding pieces' game. Contrary to another user I found the Hint button the usual speed - and it recharges quite quickly. If you like puzzling and not the map-wide adventure type game then try the sample.
I recommend this game!

First of all let me give some help to those like me who found the switch-over confusing. I was paying for the full game but got the sample. To rectify this you need a 'my game download' page. You'll see your most recent orders at the top. When you buy a game you gat a small notice on the bottom left of your browser. DO NOT use this. Instead of displaying 'my order history' change it to 'my game download' and use that. Then you'll get the full game icon at the bottom left of your browser.
As to the game - if you are a regular it's a nice game to play and if you just want the standard well then wait for that one. I recommend the game.

First, I bought this and then realised I had already bought it. I only have 1 copy but I paid for it twice. My advice is to beware and check your purchases - not easy under the new system.
The story concerns a man and his son. The man is shot dead and you play the game as a dead person. The storyline is good and the puzzles are good.

Some experienced gamers may not like this, but each year thousands of people begin their journey with PC games. Although not terribly inventive these types of PC games have been going many years now and I guess the genre may be wearing thin. However, for those just starting their journey this is a reasonable game.
I recommend this game!
A unique combo of hidden object scenes, tile-matching puzzles and challenging mini games!

This review is based on the short trial edition. First, you need to read the description of the game carefully so you know what the game is about, It is hidden objects, tile matching and 'mini games'. The introduction is artistically quite neat and is the story of a Japanese queen who made 4 amulets - these amulets now lost to the world. So it is not an adventure game and the first game was a hidden object game and each hint is a pearl and you have 4 pearls and if you use them up - that's it.
I felt slightly conned by the game - I think there should have been a clearer description of the game.

As you may know, these games are identical to the collector's edition but are pared down to the minimum, so for £5.39 that's good value if you don't mind going without.
The story is about an investigation into Ashville and the games are standard as is the presentation. For more details just look at the collector's edition review, but for my money ($5.39) this is a good game.

This review is based on the 90 minute sample. The story begins with a man who calls up the spirit of a dead bride. The man's actual intended gets in touch with your character and you arrive at the wedding rehearsal to find the man lying on the ground.
What made this special for me was that your character has the help of a cat who has psychic abilities and who like other helpers in PC games can fetch hard to get items for you and give you advice. The first advice is to find out what has been going on, for the cat can detect traces of an entity. And then the game goes on.
It's a busy game, produced in quite bright colours too and although I didn't find the challenges too great I think at this present time when we're all stuck indoors this is a pleasing family game.

My review is based on the trial version. The theme of this game is flowers. It is an easy to play 'higher or lower' type of solitaire, wnd while it is pleasing to play I do wonder if simple variation after simple variation will pull in the crowds. I would like a more complex game - a greater challenge, and while the cards are pretty and the music is relaxing I can only give this three stars.
I don't recommend this game.

The story begins with the player being called to his grandmother's home. There he receives a letter from a lawyer, finds an amulet, activates it and after flying through a portal finds himself locked in a cage.
This game is for the fans, because although the presentation is good this genre of PC games doesn't have a lot of new ideas to offer the gamer. The dialogue is pretty ropey too.
