My first reaction: Low Budget. Graphics are okay, HO's are spread out to make easy selections, Mini-Games were good with clear instructions. My only issue in the demo was with the pocket watch which would not accept the time needed to make it open. I tried setting the watch using all three hands in the three different time positions; nothing worked. Other than that, I had no technical problems. I'm not sure this will be a buy for me, but beginner HO players may enjoy it. I recommend playing the game and making your own decision whether or not to buy. This is just my opinion! The game played just fine on my PC Windows 8.1, 64 bit.

Graphics were pretty good with nice color, story line very good, lovely music -- quite relaxing for me, as is this game. Logical in that I could figure out what to do in order to move along in the game. Mini games are fun and some were new to me so they took some strategic thinking. HO's were few, at least in the demo. Strategy Guide was helpful. I did not use the hint. The diary provides conversations, what has happened, and your goals/tasks. Down in the left corner is where you click to view your collections, etc, and the Strategy Guide. A bird spreads it's wings and there you make your selection. There are three different collections (I think) and morphs which are not too difficult to find. I played on casual for the demo and had no technical difficulties on my PC Windows 8, 64 bit. This is a definite buy for me.

Based on the trial, I had fun and like this game because I did not come across any HO scenes. This is more of an adventure type game which is my favorite. The mini-games were not too difficult but were fun and different from recent games. The music and sounds fit the game but I keep them on low so I am not too distracted. The game provides a nice interactive map that makes zapping from one area to another a quick trip, if that is important to you. I do not mind traveling because I miss a lot of things and can find them on my way back through. There are morphing objects of which I found a few, but I forgot about them so missed some, I am sure. Sparkles can be turned off but I left them on for this trial. When I purchase, I will turn it off because I do not want the help. I like to take my time and look around each scene. The graphics are a bit sketchy and the theme is supposed to be creepy, of course. I do not recall getting a choice for difficulty level. I did use the Strategy Guide once but forgot to check for the number of chapters so I can't even venture a guess at the length of the game. Most games take me a lot longer to play than most of the Fish in the Pond...I am a slow poke. The game was enjoyable for me but I recommend trying it for yourself. Also, no glitches for me and it filled my screen.
The Brothers Grimm have assigned the task of revealing the truth behind missing children in the town of Arbourshire; it is up to you to discover the secrets of the Fairy Tale Mystery, before it is too late.

Based on the Trial Game: This is a bit dark and creepy (Grimm should give a big hint on that aspect!) but it is still a Fairy Tale so that makes it a fun game for me. It felt like nighttime throughout the time I played. There are a lot of Hidden Object Scenes which provide you with a needed object to carry out your mission. Too many for me, actually, but the game intrigues me so will buy it. I want to 'save the children'. The puzzles are different and not to difficult so far. As other reviewers recommend - try it first!
