OK. Cute idea. Not my idea of an engaging stimulating game. Its redundant, has no challenges, and to me boring. I Like the cats though. Not sorry I tried it but now I know its not my kind of game. I gave it about 30 minutes on trial and trashed it. Hard to say if I recommend it. If you want no challenges , and something to waste your time, this is it. If you are seeking something more. Seek elsewhere.
I do agree with other reviewers. Artogon had a style that was creepy with a storyline that went along with that feel. Their standards have been set below what I have come to expect. I only played through the free trial and I probably wont be purchasing it. Graphics good and mini games good...I did like the variety, I usually turn off all sounds since it just is more distracting than enhancing. Anyway, I turned to Artogon games because the Vanishing Hitchiker was a great game, but this doesnt come close. Its like a lot of cookie cutter games out there now .It was amusing not at all memorable.
This is the same thing over and over again. Though it states it has a variety of games its the same numbers grid over and beyond ad nauseum with a rare appearance of a different game tossed in. No challenge you might as well play soduko. I tried it. I could not find anything about this game engaging. Sometimes the story can be enough to keep me interested, but this is a tiny dialog with tons of number grid games. I am sure there are people that love this but I would have thought different on this purchase had it been advertised as simply a grid number game.
I don't recommend this game.

I admit that I really like games that require more involvement in the story rather than games to unlock a next level. The game must keep me engaged by a good storyline if I will continue with it. The Syberia series is an exellent example of that. Games like this present the challenge of trying to figure out the next step--these are not for those who want to be spoon fed along the way with a lot of flash and sparkle. For some that could spell work and you lose interest, for others its a challenge to unravel the mystery. Rhiannon fufills that place. I have played it several times and love it everytime. Its different, engaging, it has a fairly solid and interesting story, while adding a bit of eeriness and sinister environment to your pursuit. I like the process, I am not seeking instant gratification.(if that was the case I play solitaire). This is a game of participation and commitment (and guess what duh!!! it actually requires you to think!). I am probably dating myself because I feel these games are falling off the interest wagon for general gamers. But for challenge, involvement, and (to me) stimulating gaming experience this is one of the best.
My regret is that BFG does not offer more of this style of game.
Well, besides having some technical issues that are not quite resolved (I finally figured out something that worked you can read in the forum). I thought the story started out as being really good, but it was like a balloon that lost a lot of air. The story line fell with lots of gaps in it. What was the purpose of the Butler??? You never find out. I thought so many ways this was going to be a good game (like the first), but I think the designers were rushed on making a deadline and it showed. Now for the good thing. Like I said storyline very good, but fizzled. The graphics, music, effects...top notch. I do like the variety of games. Its not just HOS all the time, a little puzzle decipherment, acquiring clues to other puzzles, a bit of sleuthing. It really kept my interest, but the tech issues left me frustrated and then when I did finish the game I was stunned with a few questions in my head about why certain things were never cleared up which should be. I think the editing could be improved. Overall, the game needs work it left you the gamer hanging and I dont mean hanging for the next sequel more like "Wait! what happened here?!".
I tried this game out and I still had reservations on it. But it turned out to be fun, challenging and interesting. I liked the character Biggi, and the storyline was good. It was challenging enough but not too taxing, when you just want to relax and not go too crazy over figuring things out. Good graphics, and the music very good!

At first I was not convinced this would be fun nor would it keep my interest. I was completely wrong. It had a surprising variety of of puzzles and games with a few HO to add some predictable interest. The game was not difficult but challenging enough to just relax and enjoy without having to go crazy over small details. The story line was like reading a favorite fairy tale, and the graphics quite good. As a matter of fact I was eager to play its sequel.
I recommend this game!

They dont get any better than this. Incredible graphics, puzzles and tasks made it a challenge and stimulating but the storyline was great. It was not only good game it was a wonderful story!!!!!! Wish there were more games like this one.
when I really dont want a challenge and enjoy beautiful graphics this fits the bill. I found that the game does not download properly and some games dont work correctly, But there are ways around that and if I felt it would enhance the game I probably would insist on getting it to work perfectly. Still I have enjoyed playing it or should I say I enjoyed the graphics.
