I must say, I thought I would not like playing timed games and repetitious puzzles. However, Hiddenverse: Rise of Ariadna was a game changer for me. I was not half-way through the demo until I found myself logging off the game and purchasing it right away. I truly enjoyed this refreshing change and am looking forward to finishing this game. This game is like unto an addiction; can't wait to get back to playing. Fun factor, visual and sound quality was excellent. Thankful for the option for level of challenge, and the storyline surprisingly kept my attention. I own over 300 Big Fish Games both SE and CE. This one is a keeper for sure. Definitely not a waste of time and is quite enjoyable.
Lost Lands: Ice Spell is an awesome game; judging from the CE demo version. The fun factor is off the charts for me. The graphics are superb as usual. There is so much to do and I love putting things together and making the mixture concoctions. The storyline, again keeps my interest. The mini game puzzles are more than enjoyable and is at the right level for me. I am so happy to see familiar faces that come to join Susan's team. I actually felt cold playing this game, which means I really got into it. I love looking for the morphing and collectible items. I makes sure to find them in each scene. I am extremely grateful for the map, which also tells me if I have collected these items as well as where to go next. I will definitely purchase this game ASAP. This is another awesome Lost Lands game by Five - BN Game developers. Great Game!
Grim Tales is one of my favorite series by Elephant Game developers. I have always been infatuated with Richard; yes, including his speech, and the sound of his voice. Please to see he is hanging in there to help his daughter Anna. This is a well-executed ghostly game that does not disappoint. The storyline is, as always to me, intriguing. The fun factor is justly done; there is always something to do. The visual and the sound effects are beautifully done just right. The level of challenge is just right for me, not too hard, but doable enough to figure out without skipping. The hidden object puzzles are as always fun to play and intriguing. I like the different time travel modes and chasing the Woman in White. I knew this game was going to be good, and I purchased it immediately after playing the demo to the end. Solving this mystery case entails a lot of excitement, spooky fun, and intriguingly grim music, and beautiful scenes.
From the beginning of this demo, til the end of the demo, this is an awesome game. The fun factor was off the charts for me. The visual and sound quality was superb. The level of challenge was just right for me, and the storyline was more than intriguing. I was totally captivated with the game. The evil stranger has no qualms in shooting his targets. This game is filled with suspense, obstacles, and fitting challenges. The hidden objects has a new interesting twist to them, the puzzles were very creative. This game is a step up from the rest!!! I cannot wait to purchase this game to see what else is thrown in my way while trying to rescue the character's daughter. Hidden object game lovers will love this game!!! Great Game... Thanks Big Fish.
Unfortunately, I must admit, this game has lost its wow factor for me. After playing the short demo to the end, I was not enthused to find out anything else about this game. Maybe that is why the demo was so short. Interest about the meteorite was lost. Seeing the big-head with the spider body again, and again was a turn-off for me. It never sparked any further interest; in fact, I deleted the demo from my PC after playing. The graphics are good, and was about the only thing that was appealing about this game, because the storyline was almost a repeat of the others. I grew weary of the little puppet helper who seem to struggle with her movements, even as a puppet. I am a mature audience, so maybe this game would be more to a younger audience’s liking. The level of challenge was mediocre and the fun factor was not as high as expected; even when playing the puzzles. This was a miss for me. Sorry AMAX and Big Fish.
What ever she is, I am quite interested to find out. Eipix Entertainment provided another great fun game for me. This game holds a lot of suspense, and unanswered questions. While playing the demo, I could not help but to enjoy the Irish music, which added a matched flair to the Irish Step Dancers, and their title, "The Swift O'Connors," great fit. The graphics are great -- real eye candy. The morphing objects and the hidden collectible insignia were not too difficult to find, but still enjoyable. The puzzles were challenging just enough to hold my interest. The storyline is very good; almost original. This is really a fun game with one exception, which I agree with some of the other reviewers, that it ended rather quickly. I still had 34 minutes left to play, and I got up for a drink and came back. At any rate, I am still hooked on finding out what she is, and why she is doing what she's doing, so I will be purchasing this game in the near future. I think this is a good game.
Judging by previous reviewers, I was hesitant to play this game. However, I am glad I did play the demo. While this game did not completely blow me away, there were some wow factors that added to this storyline that I liked, such as predicament that would follow from the Blood Moon. Playing the demo, believe it or not, kept my interest, and before I knew it, the demo was over. So, yes, I am interested to finish this game. I will probably purchase the SE when it comes out. The graphics are very good, the storyline was not original but still interesting. The level of challenge I must admit, was not as challenging as the previous installments of this series, but nonetheless, I felt encouraged to follow through because I did not skip anything. I liked the puzzle pieces, and was glad the hidden objects scenes were fun to do. There is a lot to do and to remember. I for one, was glad to see my little helper, the ferret, and was actually glad that Jack did not have no witch powers, but had witch knowledge. Overall, I am giving this demo a four-star rating and am looking forward to finishing the game.
Yes, yes... Mad Head did it again, but even better. This game is right up my alley, and I love it. The creatures, beings, and the like is just what I look for in this type of game. The story line is not unusual but is still captivating. The graphics stand out clear and appealing, and the music fits the theme of the plot. There is lots to do to get from point A to point B, and I love it. The mini games are challenging enough to not quit or skip, the puzzles are more than interesting and encourages me to keep on. I like the extra work in the hidden objects scenes in finding the morphing objects. The puzzle collectibles has me looking in each scene, which is something I like as an added task. Of course, this is the Collector's Editions and it comes with all the bells and whistles. I will be purchasing this game ASAP.
Love this game (based on the demo); and I believe this game deserves a 5-star rating. The storyline has my undivided attention. The graphics is like eye-candy for me; Sound quality is just right; although in the custom mode other helpful options are available, and I just love it, the special effects fit the story. Nightmares about your brother, and arriving at the haunted mansion will surprisingly give you the creeps as you are worriedly trying to save yourself, your brother, and his love from a crazed serial killer, let alone trying to solve this story of the dead. This ghost story is right on point, so playing the detective fits again. The puzzles are on point with enough challenge and interest. I am glad for the collectibles, notes, morphing objects, the monetary hidden butterflies, and the Tarot cards. There is lots to do in this game, which is a good thing. This game is perfect for hidden objects game lovers. I am purchasing Mystery Tales: The House of Others Collector's Edition ASAP!!
Elephant Games came through again in headless flying colors. The inevitable contract will get you in the fearful mood. I totally enjoyed playing the demo of the CE of Haunted Hotel – Personal Nightmare. I can hardly wait to finish playing this game, and I will be purchasing it ASAP. There is NOTHING that I dislike about this game. The HOS, puzzles, voice overs, graphics, music, and storyline are fearfully dead-on. I love the new twist with the headless creature, and the total suspense of it all. The game play is just right for me. Thanks Big Fish and Elephant Games for a REAL WINNER!!!
