I am fascinated by Titanic and its history. I saw the poor ratings for this game, and thought 'I have disagreed with ratings before, I'll have to see for myself.'
After the one hour demo, I don't think the game is THAT bad, but just barely. MANY HOGs. That is good, but lack of story is what is so awful about this game.
The premise is great, travelling between 2012 and 1912, solving a mystery....ooooh. That gets my attention, but after an interaction scene #my character haivng dialogue w/one or more characters# is probably less than 3 minutes' time in the 60 minutes in the demo. There is no real plot, just hidden object games, nothing to propel me to WANT to continue. So, sadly, I don't think I am too sold on this one. Take it back to the drawing board, keep the games, although you can quit making the shirts, coats, and shells mandatory in almost every HOG...put more storyline and plot into the game, and I can overlook the fact that the graphics are a bit cartoonish, not the lavish, rich and beautiful ones I have grown so accustomed to in BF games.
I don't recommend this game.

I just finished the one hour trial. It is fairly intuitive. I like the fact that when you need an object, say, a wrench to open something, the wrench may be hidden, but it is nearby, not several screens back.
As usual, the graphics are beautiful, and the story takes place in the Italian countryside, which are depicted beautifully in the grahics.
Not too hard, nor too easy. A good, steady pace that doesn't fly by too fast, nor too slow where it is like trying to swim in molasses for progress in the game. Enjoyable.
There is a CE sale this weekend, and this is an excellent choice as a bonus, although it really is worth the money, too.
I recommend this game!

I have enjoyed previous games in the Redemption Cememtery series, and like this one, too...just not as much as the previous versions. It seems as if it is alot of tedious things to do to accomplish one goal.
I tell how much I enjoy my free hour by if I am surprised when my game suddenly quits, or I think 'ah, about time' but still mildly surprised, or if I am looking at my clock waiting for the game to quit.
This one was 'ah, about time' but about to border on looking at the clock. I think this is a good game, and I'll probably get it, but it is the weak link of the RC series.
If this was a SE, I'd say just over the 'stellar' line, but as a CE, I say it is just shy of it.
Get it, but just know it is not the superstar as previous RC games. I may change my mind once I buy it and get deeper into it, but I always base my reviews solely on the one hour trial.

It seems as if plots with magicians are in abundance lately, or is it just I found a bunch all at once?
The storyline is okay, I guess. It seems once you play so many (and have them in your library) the plots can and do repeat themselves, with little variation, so I do my best to be objective for the story and the game I am reviewing, not the entire category of games.
At the end of the hour, I was just starting to get to use some of the items in my inventory, which took quite some time to gather, going from scene to scene. I think a few things could have been grouped together or at least in one scene instead of going from one scene to another several screens back.
As a single edition, I think based solely on the one hour demo it is a good addition. Not *stellar* but good. If the CE is like this, I would not purchase it.
I recommend this game!

The storyline was pretty interesting, but typical for a HOG. One thing I did not like was getting inside the gate took so long. Normally, getting to a fence and to the place where a good deal of the game takes place takes only a few moments, but this time it was very drawn out. That took about ten minutes or so, because you had to go all over the place to do only a couple of tasks.
When the game cut off, the game was JUST starting to pick up. I had cleared a few more key scenes needed to get where I was and I do have hope for this game. I will not (yet) put it in the *stellar* list of games, but I would say 'decent with potential' based solely on the demo.
Will I get this game? Hm. I think so. Like I said, it has potential. I have some credits I could use. Would I pay for it? Maybe and if there was nothing else I wanted first.
I recommend this game!

The tag-line says this was set in the 1950s, I kept getting a 1930s feelling. (Maybe that is a misprint on BFG's part)
I absolutely loved the manison, absolutely beautiful.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game. However, some of the things on the HOG lists were hard for me to see because they were dark in a dark corner or area or they were so small.
On some of the tasks that needed to be done outside of HOG's, the item needed to complete the task was not the most obvious and I have to go hunting for a different item.
The short bonus chapter after the game is okay, not great, but fun. I think if I could change one thing, I would have included a self guided tour of the mansion that was seperate from the game, just to show people what the mansion looked like in its heyday.
Yes, get the game. I think it is in the *stellar* list.
I recommend this game!

It is a fun game, twists and turns that lead you to very unusual places.
Beautiful graphics, unusual characters, and challenging for most people, making you think. There were a couple of places that I did go 'huh?' for objects you needed to complete a task, but as I have said before, 'Think out of the box.'
I think this is high SE quality. I am not too sure based solely on the one hour trial that I would buy it if was a CE, but I will be buying it as a SE.
I recommend this game!

Pros: Beautiful graphics, which more often than not is a BFG standard. The storyline is a dark one, alot of dark arts, so I may be a prude, I wouldn't allow kids to play this one due to the references in the demo and what I am sure run through the entire game.
The challenge is pretty good. Not too simple where I breeze through it, or it pretty much plays itself because it gives so much away, nor is it too difficult that just makes the game too tedious and takes away from the fun.
The cons: Storyline. It IS a very dark one. Just be forewarned of that.
Overall, great game. I think I may be getting this game. I had hit a few lemons in regards to games lately, and this one while not in the *stellar* club, it does not belong in the *stinker* club.
I recommend this game!

I am very fond of solitaire games, but it can get boring playing just cards.
Since this IS a solitaire game, I do not expect the in-depth storyline of my usual choice of HOG's, but this is entertaining, light-hearted, family friendly game and the storyline isn't bad.
You go through completing goals, earning money to help you on your journey. There is a shop where you can buy tools to help you clear boards. The stock I saw in that shop in my one hour demo was limited, but that may increase as I progress in the game.
I will be buying this game. I think it will be a good distraction when I want to stray from HOGs for a bit.
I recommend this game!

It is a games like this that make me stay with BFG (and their amazing customer service, too!)
This game captured my attention at the moment I clicked on 'play'. I usually play with the sound muted, but for the one hour trial, I will play with the sound on. The music is very dramatic. There is spoken lines, the statues' voices are like a 45 record on 33.3, but there is text below.
Be observant, think out of the box, and you will proceed at a bit faster rate. The map is a help, too.
This game is worth getting the CE edition. I already bought it and look forward to playing it without time limits.
