Slow. Instructions not clear. Graphics poor, muted, lifeless. I agree with most of the other contributors. I won't finish the trial even. It was 'tedious', I think that's the best word I can think of.
Lots of things going on but not overwhelming. It's a little Wheel of Fortune and money to buy prizes . A little like Gardenscapes. Trophies to win. Finding hidden words letter by letter. Finding hidden books. The graphics are fun and not grotesque. I get so bored with all the graves, and gruesome and dark. I've only played a couple of vignettes but I really have enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure I will buy this game. I tried half dozen times to read the book. Even with Robert Redford, I could not maintain interest in the movie. I don't know how closely this follows the book but I am really enjoying this game. Lots of HO's. It's really fun. Easy to follow.
Ive been asking for something more simple and pretty. When you get what you ask for, sometimes its not always rewarding .Too much jabber. The drawings are simple. This is a nice beginners game.I'd say a young tween would love it.I'm sorry. But won't be adding this to my 'stable'. Battle Axe
I can tell this is the first game of the series. I bought the Houdini version. They're pretty similar but I miss looking for the extra object (ie the shamrocks for the bonus HOS). Will have to finish the trial before I decide if I want to buy it. I was about to quit before I realized that rubbing the icons was for one puzzle. I thought 'enough of the grave rubbings, already'. If you like a HOG and not so much travelling from one place to another frequently, you'll enjoy this. Pretty basic.

Do you really want to spend your money on merely 'OK'. The graphics were ok. There was a suggestion but no real story. Some things were easy to find, others were harder but not worth the effort. The hints are vague.

Perhaps I didnt give it a chance. Only played about 10 minutes of the trial. It was so dull. The graphics hazy. The cat meow annoying. No offense if you liked it. Battle Axe
This one is a little tougher than usual. You have to look really hard for items. I've only played about 20 minutes of the trial. Not crazy about the find the difference. But it is challenging. I'm not sure what I will do yet.
I am really happy at finding both of these new BCA games. Bought them both prior to finishing the free trial. I wonder if they will go back and make a second issue of the othe BCA games. One has a bit more challenge. I too am tired of the dark, gloomy graphics and the murder/death/revenge/kidnap/themes of almost all of the new games. If that is your thing, more power to you. I like a variety. A more gentle, colorful game is a nice break.
I have all the BCA games, this is the best one. More game, more graphics. I like it a lot. I also like buying games of the same type such as the BCA, or Dream Day Wedding, Mystery PI, Hidden Mystery.
