The Park Ranger series has lost almost all creativity. The only new scenes were part of the collector's edition. All the others were from the previous 9 games. What happened to the people? Not the CG ones, they were getting weirder and weirder. But the Ranger with the great smile, The gentlemen using Kenny canes, it didn't even have much diversity of people. Maybe you need to start a new series - how about the Smithsonian Museums? That could be a whole series in itself. Aquariums, Science museums, you guys are better than this.
I bought this sight unseen, as I have 1 - 7. The story/art stuff was OK. A third character would have been helpful for the story. The regular M3 puzzles were easy. I expect that for the assorted puzzles in between levels (mahjong, hidden object, etc.) The bonus puzzles were hard! I like what you've done with the arrow bombs. And the occasional chance to sabotage my nemesis was delightful. I've always wondered why the head to head was not on identical boards. The layouts are fascinating, but I often sat there and watched the path you've created Rube Goldberg style getting almost all the coins. I also like the red squares. They resembled a bouncy house and the fact that I couldn't move the pieces there was a good frustration. I miss the ladybugs.
Where do I start? I've been playing the game for a total of 5 hours and I'm only on level 6. This is a definite "try before you buy" because the parts of the mines where you have to do a certain number of moves in a certain order to clear the board just gets harder. Fortunately there's help on YouTube. The artwork is just silly. Obviously they put more work in developing a really good game then worrying if the drawing will win awards. I don't use the sound on any games. The storyline is minimal and kind of cute. You'll get a few chuckles out of the characters. Cave Quest is similar, so if you happen to like that one, you'll love this.
I just finished playing the 200 levels of this game, but I need to write this so I can go back and start again! Yes, it's that good. I love match 3, but the timed games are usually too much for me. Every so often a hidden object or find the difference will crop up just to keep it interesting. These extra puzzles are very easy. What is not easy are the battles. These have to be played, I think. There is a surrender button but I never used it. The greatest thing is the change layout button. Got a spot you just can't seem to clear? Hit the change layout button and it will move around. You can change it back in 30 seconds. I hit all the traps - It was fun to try and not get them. I can see how it would be an added challenge! The storyline is nice, a few conversations just to segue into the next area. Grammar and spelling were perfect. Speakers were off, so I can't comment on that. What I can say is this is the best match 3 since Emerald Tale! (Which I'm still waiting for a sequel, it's only been 5 years!) Overall, give this one a try!
The Kingdom is in chaos! Lady Sarah, the savior of the kingdom has been poisoned! It's up to you to find the culprit in this exciting hidden object adventure.
Take the Clutter series, make it in a cool style, but make it easier. I haven't played a game in the Hiddenverse world, so I'll have to check those out. If it had Sliders puzzles (the most popular mini-game Clutter has) I would have bought it immediately. It doesn't and I didn't.
Forget the story. This game has so many new features I have not seen in other match games. Slide the row, rotate some spaces, move the blocker(?), TRY this one. Now the drawing is wonderful - you won't see anything you recognize of London. If they put an HO game in between the match three, you'd have a collector's edition I would buy! I need to see if there's anything else by this company!
The story is dumb, but who does this for great reading? With the exception of The Great Gatsby. That HO was was playable over and over. But I digress.
The puzzles are hard. Maybe too hard. I skipped a few. The HO scenes were top notch, but I needed a few hints which isn't normal for me. The music is perfect. Turn the voices off, I found the accents weird and distracting.
For the first time, a match 3 game has casual and expert, then you choose regular, timed, and number of moves. Try it, you'll see what I mean. There are also a few tricks I'd never seen before, but you'll get those in the first hour, too. I highly recommend the game and I'm only halfway through.

This is a simple game to relax. HO scene, puzzle, HO scene, puzzle, over and over. If I wasn't so tired of the kidnappings, ghosts, demons, etc HO games I wouldn't have bought this game. Well, I didn't buy it, I had a free game coupon that was about to expire. Some terms were unfamiliar to me i.e. astic column (a column that isn't really holding anything up) and a few typos. No story line.
I own all the others, so I bought it without trying it out. I had a coupon that was about to expire, so it seemed a wise choice. How do they keep coming up with more and unusual layouts, ways to play, etc??? If you're a fan, get this one. If you've never played, definitely try it!
