There were a few levels the first time through that were somewhat challenging, but after finishing I went back and knocked those out first try, quite easily. Didn't even have to try very hard to get gold on most of them -
Except level 19, which requires 40 customers be served to get Gold, but you can't control how many customers you get -
But there IS something wonky there, and if there is a way to get more added to the total, that needs to be in the tips or hints somehow - I've seen screens of other people's game and it shows 35 customers for that level - my game shows 36 - so what's up with that?
Otherwise, it's a lot of fun, but quite repetitive, and very easy to get gold. Overall, disappointed. :(

Come on developers, give me something I can sink my teeth into. I absolutely adore these games, but this series and even the Katy & Bob series (at least the second one - haven't tried the 3rd yet) were ridiculously EASY.
Same dynamics as Katy & Bob - and I loved the first Katy & Bob - but the second Katy & Bob & both of these two have been just completely non-challenging. The Cooking Stars game, now that one had some bite to it! But these... I skip upgrades JUST to make it a little harder and I still hit gold every time without batting an eyelash. I have to push my way through, keep hoping it will get harder... Give us a difficulty selector if it's too hard for people - make an Insane difficulty that is barely possible to hit - but for goodness sake's make these a little more difficult - this would be a GREAT game if it weren't so easy...

Too easy. Maybe once or twice during the game I had to play a level twice, but the second time around always hit it. I had to refrain from upgrading just so the levels would be a little more difficult. I LOVE these games, but lately - I haven't found any that challenge me. I keep hoping...
I recommend this game because its fun - maybe it's the same dynamics as all the others, and maybe it's not hard enough - or needs more difficulty level selections - but I love this type of game and so will recommend it - not everyone will find this lacking in challenge - and if you don't, it's a great game. It's just too easy for me.

Well, its almost a really good game. The only complaint I have, and it's a big one, is the limited move concept - and there's no option to switch it to timed instead. I would have LOVED this game if there were a toggle you could use to play timed instead of limited moves. I don't want to think that hard to play something that's supposed to be fun... it's a preference I have, I know, and others I'm sure feel the opposite - but most of the games I've seen that are limited move also allow you to either bypass the limited move requirement, or play timed instead.
I'm not sure what was being compared on some of the reviews, but I'm on Expert and it's ridiculously easy. The only thing keeping me engaged on this one is the story.
Bring back the hidden pictures. Bring back the old animations, expressions, and interesting trophies. For goodness sake's STOP making them shrug like marionette's to represent laughter. :( I love the Delicious series, but the last 4-5 games have been disappointing. No extra levels in the Collector's Edition. No hidden pictures to find, no interesting trophies. Decorating the nursery/backyard/campsite is one new feature I like - but stop with the pictures every time something new is purchased.
The old lifetime moment pictures were much more interesting, with the photo albums.
The worst is that even on Expert it's ridiculously easy. There are so many times in the last several games I've messed up 4 or 5 times during a level and still got 3 stars. To get 3 stars on Expert you should have to be practically perfect - if that's too hard for some people, let them play on medium difficulty.
I'll give Delicious one last chance - if the next installment is the same as the last 3, I'm going to have to say goodbye. :(

Granted, I'm only about 20 levels in, but hey - that's 1/3 of the game, it looks like... but what happened, developers??
The first Katy & Bob was AWESOME. There was a clock that told you when the diner closed, and it was possible to get more customers if you were fast, so quite often you were racing the clock to get those last few customers so that you could get Expert AND complete your tasks.
This one has a set number of customers per level. No racing the clock. In fact, there isn't a clock, just a customer count.
The upgrades were fine - but 1/3 of the way through and she can still only carry 2 items? *sigh* No fun.
I guess the bottom line is, the first one kept me hooked, with the levels very quickly becoming quite difficult to complete if you wanted to get Expert and complete the tasks. Some levels I had to play LOTS of times. This one is so easy it's starting to get boring.
I wish I'd read the reviews closer. I just wrongly assumed that this one would be like the first one.
Maybe sequels need to have a section where it tells you what's different about the game from the first one... that would be VERY nice. But no, I went and wasted my money on this game. For some, who don't like to be challenged almost beyond endurance, who don't like to have to really get everything down without making mistakes, and play levels multiple times, it would be okay.
Me - I like a challenge. Give me a game that's nearly impossible - but *just* doable - and I'll love it.

This game is wonderful - I've loved every installment of the series and hope lots more are coming.
The storyline - I don't pay much attention really - and what I did pay attention to was really kind of silly...
The graphics are great, the puzzles - awesome - I haven't finished and the puzzles are still pretty easy, so the challenge factor so far is kind of blah - but it may get good towards the end...
But the music is AWFUL!!! It's worse than a funeral. Play some other music if you can... or better yet - please, please, developers -- change the music!! It is SO sad!!!

Quick clicking and thinking ahead - some of the levels its impossible (it certainly seems so!) to get a gold medal on, but then again some of them I thought were impossible a week ago I finally did get a gold medal on!
You run a dance studio-type place, almost like a gym only with dancing the main exercise, and people come in to learn or practice their moves. Music is okay, graphics are okay, story is only so-so, but the fun factor and the challenge are great. Upgrades are very helpful, bonuses are helpful, and while it's pretty simple to meet the minimum goal (usually!), getting the gold is pretty difficult for the most part, and nearly impossible on some levels.
