I like 3-match and time management games and was looking for a slightly different twist. This one is cute but it is slow going. I did the trial in relaxed mode, decided to buy it because it was on sale. Otherwise, I wouldn't have spent the money. The graphics are great, the music is pleasant but it takes sooo long to earn money. I switched to timed mode and it's the same issue. It's a good game for someone whose looking for a game that's great in place of meditating!
I recommend this game!

I love the Chocolatier series and thought it would be fun to get this variation. It is a true time management game whereas the series is not. I've just started playing and have made it to 4 locations -- with a lot of frustration. The game starts out relatively easy but then it suddenly becomes extremely difficult to complete the levels in each location. I have played the last level in the 4th location at least 15 times and can't beat it and I'm great at time management games. That's when this game went from fun to frustrating, hence the "good" rating for the Fun Factor. I tried the 1 hour trial, thought it would be fun and decided to get it. The trial wasn't long enough to reveal the extreme challenge of this game. I might have had second thoughts if that had been the case. Despite this, I do recommend this game for serious time management gamers.
I recommend this game!

The biggest issue I have is with the Arcade part of this game. The games are either boring or impossible to do. They are retro arcade games and I hated them back then when they first came out. The movie part of the game is okay but also boring. I recommend this game if you enjoy doing retro arcade games. I did the trial version but the hour wasn't long enough for me to realize that I wouldn't like the game. I like time management games but this one was a poor choice; I regret having wasted my money.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a great next step in the series. In this one you actually do get to create a variety of original recipes which are added to your recipe book. It's not just all chocolate this time which was a great idea. Some of the cities are the same as in the previous two games but the design reflects the time period. There are more places to travel to, increased challenges, and lots more ingredients to use. I highly recommend this game. If you haven't played the first two, you might want to consider doing so. This makes the games more interesting and fun to follow.
I recommend this game!

I fell in love with the first game and was thrilled to discover the sequels, this being the second of the series. The graphics are great. I like the international travel with the locations providing a little bit of cultural representation visually and musically. You can create your "own" recipes which isn't quite true (it's predetermined) but you have to figure out what ingredients to combine to create the chocolate treat so there is still the feeling of self creativity. The storyline continues from the first game a decade or two later. It's lots of fun and a great sequel. I play this lots of times and don't get bored.
I recommend this game!

I love this game. The storyline is cute. The graphics are great. The music is good but at times gets a little tedious. The game is challenging with regards to running a business: product management, maintaining inventory, buying expenses, etc. (I enjoy this sort of thing!) It challenges my math skills! I think it's a game for all levels; it's flexible enough for beginners to keep from getting frustrated but can also lends itself to self challenge. It's a great idea for a game and worth checking out.
I recommend this game!
