I liked the game, in general. I tried to play the game twice. but the second time was worse than the first. The one thing that is a real problem is; when you play in the custom mode (which I do),the mini games are just as hard to figure out as in the other modes. Shouldn't the mini games be a little easier? Logic and strategy are not my strong points, so, many other people are a lot smarter than me. In all of the games I have that offer the custom game mode, the mini games are not easier at all. So, I have to skip them which takes away the fun from the game..
I have only played the trial game, but it is cute. As I do with all games, I use the hint button and guide in order to learn how to do the puzzles. I couldn't play the game to far in because of the HOGs. However, what I did play I liked. I will buy this game when I get the money. I think it is so different from the regular games I play because it is a cartoon. I did not have my speakers and headphones on, so when the cat showed up, it caught me totally off guard. I hope the whole game is like this, because I like scarey.
I have played (or tried to play), several, of the Edgar Allen Poe games. Some I liked and have played two or three times. But, not this one. I played most of the SE game and liked it, so I got the CE version. What a waste. The game starts out easy enough (custom mode), But the more I played the game the more complicated it became. I ended up using the hint button, as well as, the guide. Once in the Archives, I became completely lost. I could not use the beakers because I never found the second fire symbol. These games in the "so-called" custom mode may make your hint button and skip button work in your favor, but the rest of the game is still hard to figure out. I only recommend this game to people who like to be confused and like "hard to figure out" games, And the game is not short. A lot of your time you will be asking yourself (where do I go next) ugh
This game is okay, overall. However, the puzzles were tricky, especially the last.one. I could not finish the game because I could not get the dreamcatcher to take the design pictured in the strategy guide. So, unless you can figure out senseless puzzles that are difficult to solve, I do not recommend this game
Once again, Bonfire Mysteries has come through. I play on custom, but I might try easy. The story lines are creepy but that is what makes these such good games. Yes, you do need to look around carefully and remember where things are. But again, that is what makes HOPs what they are. The developers are finally listening to gamers and making games fun instead of confusing and complicated. They stay on one timeline instead of going in to several different directions. Thank you for these games and I hope you make many more.
This game, like most, started out fine. So, I used a free game code to purchase it. However, the further I got in the game it became more confusing. By the time I got to the second patient I was having to use the hint button or the guide, itself. I played in the custom mode and still had trouble. If developers want us to play their games, then make them playable for everybody, no matter the mode. I do not recommend this game to anyone unless you are a master at this kind of game.
I have tried other Bonfire games and quit them before I hardly got started. This game is different and that is great. I play on custom because I have trouble with comprehension. However, the HOPs are clear and the items are pretty easy to find.. While I do not like HOPs games, this one does not bother me. This is the first game I have played in many years where I can actually give it 5 stars all of the way down. Keep up this kind of game and I will be happy.
I would not recommend this game to anyone. I thought Eipix games were impossible to play, with or without the hint button. But I was wrong. I got this game with a game code and from reviews. I have tried to play this game several times, but I have to use the hint button on just about every play. It is a long game, but it is extremely difficult, as well, If you are going to make "fun" games, make them playable, not constant back and fourth with so much confusion. I Hate this game and have given up on solving.it. If I could, I would give this game a zero. Surly this company can do better than this.
I started this game and liked it. But, the further I got in the game the harder it became.. The HOPs were dark and hard to see.. I had to use the hint button much more than I like to.. So, no, I did not like this game.
Finally. A game I can play without all of the stress other games cause. While the game is sort of easy, you still have to do some thinking. This game has it all. The graphics are great. You can actually find hidden objects without too much trouble. With the sound on, there are scary moments which only enhance the game play. Because this is the first time I have played this game I have had to use the hint button. However, I will be playing this game more than once so I won't be needing that button anymore.. I highly recommend this game for fun as well as relaxation.
