This is based on the demo which, by the way, took me 85 minutes to complete. Unbelievable! I won't go into detail as that's already been done, but there's a lot of new and detailed stuff to find here. Great graphics, and very challenging for me. I'm off to get the full version. Don't miss the demo so you can judge it for yourself. A keeper, for sure.

I'm going to go with Logie. I got through the demo in less than half an hour. I'm not going to be redeeming my 2 credits for this one, even though it's ERS. I don't recommend buying the game, but check it out for yourself.
It really is a gem. Gorgeous graphics and the collectable crosses and talismans give it exactly what I enjoy about Collectors Editions. I like to complete a game in one sitting, but I've been at this one for a while. I'm taking a break in the third realm because I'm starting to use too many hints! I usually don't buy a game without a walkthrough - even though I rarely use it - but with the map and directional hints there's really no need for one. There's quite a variety of HO types. Lists, silhouettes, a few riddles, and those objects that appear in a circle that need other items to complete them. Only one that I missed was FRO's. For me, the mini games and puzzles are difficult. I'm not very good at them to begin with and I have to admit I had to skip a lot of them. But I did stick it out on some! Even the match 3 was a challenge! The puzzlers out there are going to love it. Don't pass this one up. Yes, a treasure is a great description for this one. And one more thing... the music is enchanting! Definitely my new favorite.
I also have all the games in this series, and lots of Elephant games, but I have to pass on this one. I'm finding the navigation illogical and the puzzles undecipherable without hints. Oh, and the hints don't help much! I'm an experienced casual player - but this one is way over my challenge level. It just doesn't make sense to me. I'll recommend it, but this is one that has to be demo-ed.

There are lots of praises for the game, so I'll just say that I, too, loved it. Of note, in the bonuses. After you finish the bonus chapter, be sure to check out the Souveneres (sp?). It's a whole 'nuther game. + if you go into the flowers you can go get the ones you missed. Neat additions! As for the morphing objects, you can probably go back into the Objects and re-do them all to find them, but I didn't do that one.
This is a great game. Graphics, challenge, the mahjong tiles are exquisite. The main thing that I like about this one is that not only is it really long, the chapters are set in such a way that it makes it perfect to play for an hour or so, then stop as you change locations. Not like others in which I easily forget where I am if I stop and start again <senior moment, perhaps> Someone in the forum asked about morphing objects, I didn't find any reference to them or find any of them in the game.
I love this game. Enough to stop in the middle of playing it to write a review. That's a first for me. I'll admit that the HOS have been very hard for me, but the music is so beautiful I don't mind waiting (a bit long) for the hint to charge. The thing that I had to stop and say is that the graphics, especially the flowers, are just wonderful. Enjoy this one! Note: had someone not mentioned that there were no collectibles I probably would have gone for the CE, but this is great as an SE.

I really enjoyed this one. Straight HOPA, with a match 3 option for HO scenes. For me in casual mode, 3.5 hours. After hours and hours with other games that are nearly impossible to follow, I found this one very refreshing. You have the things you need when you need them and know where to travel. No brain drain. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee (or two)!
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?
Everyone has said it, so I won't repeat. But what I wanted to add is about the length. I take my time, and I play in casual mode. This one took me nearly 6 hours to complete (not including the demo). So much for getting anything done today!!! Love when collector's editions go on sale! 9/05/13
I would suggest doing the full demo. I loved the other Awakenings so much, I bought this after 5 minutes. If I knew it would take me so long to get through it, I probably would have waited for the SE.
But it's Awakenings! And I can't wait to get to the FROGs. I think there are supposed to be in here somewhere (?). I still have to give this a high rating, because most fishies will love the new challenges. But for me, it's been difficult. I've been at it for 3 hours and am not through Chapter 3 yet. I think they expect this as I was awarded an achievement for completing a chapter in less than an hour! :) I'm in casual mode and still struggling. Nearly everything about this game is new. Some of the puzzles are so tedious, I'm finding myself skipping more than usual.
But it's Awakenings! . . .so I'm going to continue. I usually play all games through in one sitting, but this one is going to take this fish forever!
