This is the fourth installment in the Aveyond series, and it is just as much fun as all the others. The characters are likable and the dialog is hilarious. The gameplay is fairly standard RPG, but is fun. The story is where the game really shines.
I recommend this game!

This game was lots of fun. It has a great story and a very creepy atmosphere. It's not too easy - it is just difficult enough to be challenging without being impossible. The music is very spooky, and the voice-overs are really well done. This is one of my favorite games.
It's not just a hidden-object game (you aren't just seeking objects non-stop), you actually get to do things and solve puzzles too. Also, if you prefer Match-3 to hidden object scenes, you can play it that way instead, which is a nice option.
I recommend this game!

I've played through the whole game, and I really enjoyed it. It was a good length, and took me several hours to complete. The storyline is interesting, and the graphics are very good. There's a variety of different locations, so you get to see lots of different scenery - each HO scene is in a different location, which means you don't have to search the same one over and over again, which is a plus.
Also, it includes a picture of the cutest baby polar bear ever. Seriously, that polar bear is really cute.
Anyway, this is a good installment in the Grim Tales series, and I recommend it. You can definitely play this one without having played the other two in the series and still get what's going on, though.
I recommend this game!

I really liked this game. The hidden object scenes were interesting and good - not just the random junk piles of random items you usually see in these games. The storyline is about vampires but was definitely not the typical vampire stories.
I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it was overly short, and because it felt like the storyline needed more development - I wanted to know more about the background, and about the characters. Maybe a sequel is needed!
I recommend this game!

I've played through this game three times now. If you play it differently (make different choices) you actually get a different ending, which is very, very cool. And if you've splurged on the collector's edition, the different endings result in different extra-gameplay storylines. The extra gameplay is definitely worthwhile - it's probably about the length of one of the chapters in the game (maybe a little longer?), with puzzles and HO scenes.
Dracula: Love Kills is not a pure HO, although it is heavily based on hidden objects. I'd classify it as an adventure game, though. The puzzles vary (that is, each one is a different logic-based puzzle - they're not all the same kind).
Highly recommend this game. Dracula's voice acting is a little ridiculous, but Igor's goes all the way past ridiculous and into insane (in a fantastic way).
I liked the story line a lot. Try the demo, if you like it, you'll like the whole game - it gives an accurate representation of the game. I think the demo is just the first chapter, and there are 6 or 7 chapters in the whole thing, plus bonus gameplay in the collector's edition.
I recommend this game!

I loved this game! It was really unusual in the gameplay style. It's actually an adventure game, not a hidden object game PRETENDING to be an adventure game! The puzzles are tricky, and the storyline is interesting, with a good mystery. Highly recommend this game!

Very fun game, with an interesting storyline. You get an invitation to this mysterious manor for a party, but when you get there, you find that it's abandoned and you're completely alone. You go in (for some reason) and find out that there's something evil in the house which you have to stop or else it will eat you (or something like that). Lots of different hidden object scenes with great graphics. Lots of different areas and tasks - it's not simply "find an object in a junkpile for no reason" - you use the items you find.
Also, game had a nice ending which left me wanting a sequel, but not feeling irritated and cheated, like some games do. It has an actual ending.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed playing this game. The puzzles are easy, but enjoyable. And the objectives, as well as the hidden object scenes, make sense in the storyline. Most of all, I really liked the storyline (it's cliche, but it is engaging). However, this game has a terrible ending. In fact, it barely has an ending. It just... ends. Abruptly. Leaving you wondering what just happened, especially since you're left with items still in your inventory. I know there's a difference between SE and CE, but you're not supposed to rip people off with the SE! Extremely disappointed by the ending, wish I hadn't bought it.
I don't recommend this game.
