This felt promising when I played the trial, then decided to buy. But I don't like being told what to do and where to go BEFORE MOVING ON TO ANYTHING ELSE in HO games. Give me the power to choose what to investigate, find tools for the journey as they become available, and use them when I'm ready.
I don't recommend this game.

This vampire love story is as much fun as my current favorite "Dracula: Love Kills (Collectors' Editoin)." Not a big challenge - I finished it in no time flat. But that's not negative criticism. I laughed out loud at the end! I sure hope it's "to be continued."
Enjoyed the story, and the puzzles weren't that difficult. I need to start a new profile for advanced play if for no other reason than to collect all 33 origami shapes - only got 29!
I actually enjoyed playing the first hour of Vampires Secrets, hence I bought it. Stories about vampires are always fun, even if I don't necessarily enjoy all of the visuals or mini-games. This is the first game I completed where I hated the ending! I said aloud "That's all?" If there's a continuation coming I still expect a bit more from a cliff hanger.
I have the pleasure of ridding this house of the evils spirits as often as I wish. And to revisit any room on the map to clean it multiple times if deemed necessary. Could potentially become a problem - good thing I do possess some self control. :-)
As one of Poe's biggest fans I was excited to have this be one of the 4 HO games I bought as soon as I became a Big Fish member. Loved the look and feeling of the game, highly recommend it!
Played the series out of order - "Souls of the Innocent" was just released when I became a member and I bought it almost right away. But it didn't matter. Going back to this part of the story was like watching a film pre-quel. The EARs games are my favorite to play for their art, music and weird mystery stories.
