Review is based on the demo, but the demo was enough to get me to buy the game. Great story line w/dogs gone bad & the adorable family dog getting kidnapped. The map is interactive and the help button is useful. So far the game has had a logical sequence. The mini games are not real challenging and the HOG items are big enough & clearly defined.
Review is based on the trial version. There are 4 pages of 'Awards' that you can get in the game. There is 1 Award for playing the game every day of the week and another Award for finishing the game in 3hrs. So, in order to get all the Awards, you'd have to play the game for approx. 25min a day for a week and finish it w/in the 3hrs. The puzzle instructions in the SG are a bit confusing and some of the items in the HOS are hidden real well. I'll probably get the get game just because I like achievements.
I played the demo & I'm buying the game. The game has various achievements, including finding morphing objects & it comes w/a built in strategy guide. A CE at an SE price! The game is kind of dark, but you can adjust the brightness in options. The game also fits the screen on my laptop, which is also nice. The story line is familiar, but I enjoy games w/achievements.
I just finished the demo & I'm downloading the game. The hour went by really quick. The main thing I like about the game is that it has a logical sequence. You see that you need a wrench & then you quickly find a wrench.
I just did the demo of the game & I think I'll wait for the SE. One of the reasons I buy a Collector's edition is for the strategy guide. When I clicked on the photo in this game's SG, it was so tiny, I couldn't even see what was in the picture. At least w/the blog walkthroughs you can see what you are supposed to be looking for.
I don't recommend this game.

King Arthur
Follow Arthur’s rise from boy to king! Listen to Merlin’s story and meet an amazing cast of characters as you live a classic tale!
I played the trial version & I'm downloading the full game now. Yes, some of the objects are pretty small, but no smaller than in the early MCF games. There are 4 types of hints you can use in the game, and you just need to collect certain sets of runes to recharge them. The puzzles are easy. I enjoy King Aurthur stories and the journal keeps to the standard version of events. It is a fun & relaxing game.
I just finished the Demo & I'm downloading the game. I was in the middle of chapter 2 when my hour ran out, so the time length for the game must be pretty good. Items in the HOGs have been easy to find & I only game across 2 HOGs during the hour. Puzzles were a little different, which was nice.
This sequel is shorter than the original Shadow Wolf Mysteries & the bonus game play was really short. Good game if you are new to HO Adventure games because the puzzles are simple & hidden obejects are easy to find.
Tried the Demo & bought the game. I was a little lost w/the story line at the beginning but then it became clearer. Lots of Achievements to get, which makes the game more fun.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
MCF does it again! It was uniquely refreshing to find morphing objects instead of the usual hidden object items. Some of the things needed to do be done in the game were kind of gross, and some things were funny. To fully appreciate the story line I recommend playing Ravenhearst & Return to Ravenhearst. Also, if you have a computer w/HD capability, it makes the scenes more vivid.
