You really have to think and rely on your memory for this game. It does not finish in a day! I played it around 4 hours per day for a week and finally finished it yesterday (much to my disappointment). You are sent by your mayor of your city to find a way to the kingdom. Along the way, whenever you've accomplished a task in a cave, you have visions of the princess and what happens to her because of her love of rubies. You slowly learn how to hunt and fish and craft healing potions, poisons, etc. and until you've learned it, you need to buy your food and potions from the various vendors. You'll even learn how to use the picklock on chests and you will learn how to make your own swords and shields, saving you tons of money. Your map is blank as you start out, making your way through caves, hunting down demons, bears, snakes, ogres, etc., helping villagers out just to continue on. All I'm going to say is this is both one of the best and one of the most frustrating games I've played. Try it and when you think "meh this isn't for me" don't stop because it will be for you. P.S. I never did find the guy's dagger in the spider net!
Travel through the worlds past and present to save your world.

While reviewing puzzle to the media about the Queen Of Wolfs Cult and the reason for the upcoming expedition the Whitwick company was funding, a golden egg shaped object burst open and a virus was released upon the city.
You, as Diana, have been hired by Mrs. Whitwick to go on this expedition and you only hear the news too late. You find out later that Mrs. Whitwick is not who she says she is and you are not the person you thought you were.
As you fly to the island of where the mystery of the cult is, your plane crashes and slowly your journey begins. You find out that Inla, a sister to one of the guardians has released a virus on to Earth as she, becoming one with the Tree of Life, sucking the energy out of all living things. You discover who you are and that it's now up to you to obtain the help of all the guardians to carry on and as you travel you complete quests on the Island Temple then on to the deadness and decay of the Dead World, to arrive in the beauty of the Blooming Valley, helping each guardian with their requests and creating portals between the worlds and time.
In this game, when you think you've completed a quest, another thing happens and you must continue on. You can come upon a scene where you click on an area, which may start out as putting things where they belong to adding your inventory to it's proper place and then when you think it's all done, an HO pops up. You complete that and then you find ourself holding an object and you think "huh?" and when you pull back, you're in the same room but you have more to discover and then off you go either moving forward to another area or island or returning to where you started out only now it's almost dead. Now you must complete your task and save the world before it's too late! It's quite the journey!
The storyline is great. You are looking at the screen and you are in the third person(?), not just looking in from the outside as most games. Each character plays a roll (and yes, their mouths move). The audio and graphics are also great and the map shows you where you have to go and whether there are still collectables in the area.
Some of the mini-games I found lasted too long especially if you make a mistake at the end and had to start over. With those, if I hadn't completed it within 3 minutes, I hit skip. You may have more patience (I'm old and patience went out with gravity lol)
I love to play all the Legacy Games. They are well worth the cost and this game will keep you at your computer! I think I've played them all!
The game started out great! Got my interest piqued so I bought the game under the special price. I was finished 2 hours later. I thought the storyline could have been a lot better. The map works great. The video and sound effects were okay. There's just not a lot to say. I've definitely played better games. Is it my imagination or are Hidden Object games becoming repetitive and few and far between?
I have just played the demo and all I can say is - I'm getting the game! My 3 favourite people from 3 different HO games rolled into one story! That's like getting Dean Koontz, Steven King and Alfred Hitchcock doing a movie together! If you're a fan of any of Anna or any of the others, then you don't need to be told about the graphics or storyline. You just know it's going to be good! You are hired by the Royal Office to find the Collector, before he is able to gather all the artifacts, to of course, do his evil deed. You work together changing to each other's character as the need arises as you race to track down the Collector before it's too late! The guys have now done their part in rounding up some clues and now it's up to Anna! Anna goes into the past to the town she had just been to and after investigating she now knows who the Collector is. It's time to get back to the present to tell the guys, but before she could leave, two things happened to me ... The message "Thank you for playing the demo" appeared the instant the guys yelled "she's trapped"! Really?? So! I'm off to get the game and if it continues on like it has been, I'm in for a very good time! Catch ya later!
I started the game for the first free hour and of course, just I was about to discover more about some sort of experiment, the demo ended. Not for me! I immediately bought the game and settled down to play!
You will find yourself wondering if you are an experiment or are you fighting against one? Do you trust who you meet or do you run? What choices are you going to make and are they the right ones? Don't forget to keep an eye on your sanity level which will be displayed above you! You don't want to lose it, do you?
You will find yourself going through continuous obstacles, trying to not only find your way out but to find out just what will be the end. Watch out for the demons! You never know when they might "pop" out!
The only downfall for me was that with some of the HOS' I found myself hurting my eyes trying to find some of the items and in some of the scenes, I used the hint quite often! You almost need to magnify the scene in order to see what's there. (I needed help for both pencils).
I am a casual player. I don't play these games to stress out but to cruise along at my own pace enjoying myself. I'm sure it would be more exciting to the more experienced player. All in all, great game!
25 years after you have been dropped off at a shelter with nothing but a token and a burnt partial card, you set out to find out who you are. Your hunt finds you at an exclusive gambling hall where you must begin your hunt not knowing what is around each corner. You will open rooms where you play against the dealer and your life is staked on the fact that you must win. If and when you do, you receive a card that sets out a story about the person who held it. Their energy then becomes yours to be used as required. How good are you at roulette, dice or 21? Do you gamble? How's your memory? Can you escape the danger? Overcome each opponent to get you closer to your father. To end it all you must defeat the true master and only then will your father and all the others be free! Enough hidden object and mini games to keep you hunting and guessing and just as you want to quit for the day, something else happens and you just have to see what's going on. Nothing unexpected in the graphics, storyline runs smoothly and the map works well. I certainly didn't expect the ending! Guess you can't have happy ever after all the time.
I have become a follower of the paranormal! It starts off with you picking up a hitchhiker - at night - when all is dark! Right away I think "creepy". It turns out she's been killed by someone you will soon meet. You make it to the mansion and from then on, you are on the hunt, picking up clues and helping displaced souls along the way. The visual and sound are great and the storyline is clear and keeps you going. Soon into the game, I think "never trust a possessive mamma". You play games within games within games. Just when you think you finished one mini-game you have to do something else. The map works well.
I first played Adam Wolfe: Flames of time. I soon became completely involved in the game. I spent as much time as I could playing and upon completion, immediately looked for the next game. I'm so glad the weather wasn't so nice as to make me feel guilty. You feel like you are living inside a book. Each chapter flows into the next sweeping you along. The storyline misses nothing and the book is played out before you. You have mini-puzzles and Hidden Object and much more. I felt like I was there, siting on the back of his bike as we swerved our way to safety. I'm shooting and interacting with others, racing to the finish to save my sister before time runs out for both of us. I was alive, I died, I lived and I lived again. This is your path. Don't expect the dead to look like a cartoon but think of darkness. Listen to them closely. You will watch as bullets fly hitting their targets in bursts of streaming blood. You will be there to watch people die, sometimes by your hand. It's not dragon and the princess type of Hidden Object so buckle up and be prepared for something different! I am now hooked on Adam Wolfe and will be watching closely to see if this is the end or ....
Can you save the city before the televisions take all the people?

A very captivating game. You never know what's in store for you. You can communicate with the paranormal and once you pick up the monster's tattoo, you either: put pictures together picking up objects from one scene and placing in another with the story of the beginning from each released captive progressing each time; or: you will be given insight to an object you may be looking for. Your main aim is to destroy the monster and send him back to where he belongs. You have a variety of mini games and hidden object games to complete to proceed from one step to the next. Of course I skipped some of the puzzles (i.e. I'm no good at getting the pipes working) and you do have the choice of playing a match 3 game.
What great graphics and storyline! I found myself absorbed into the game and the characters. I felt sorrow where sorrow was shown and chuckles when various things happened. The map works very well and of course, you pick up your friends along the way, helping you when required. The story runs smoothly and there is a strategy book to help if required. The H.O.'s were at times an interactive type and others just straight H.O. Needless to say there is no boredom. I did skip some mini puzzles if I thought I was going to have to rack too much brain around it, getting more and more confused. That's just me though, I don't know if others would. I enjoy it when there is a bonus game to play.
