Based on Demo: Where do I begin reviewing another horrendous mediocre game??
Graphics: nothing stunning, just the same flat uninspired artwork.
Characters: usual unrealistic looking with eyebrows that bounce up & down like they have a facial tic. If truth be told, I found the "dancing" eyebrows the best part of the game!!!!
HOS: There are now 2 of the usual messy junk piles to tackle each time. They were not challenging & minimally interactive.
Mini-Games: I only found one. You had to move a bug but the instructions were nonexistent unless you went too the SG. There were S O many moves to solve it that my eyes glazed over & the first move I made was to the skip button.
NOT a complex game/story, just slow moving & plods along with way too much back & forth. Five minutes into the game I was praying for it too, mercifully, end soon!
If you are looking for something new/surprising to excite your game playing, sorry this isn't it.
I don't recommend this game.
Ghostly warnings in the water are terrifying a grieving family. What's causing them, and what really happened to Julia White?

Based on Demo. Another game with undeserved 4/5 Star rating. When do the rose colored glasses come off & games are seen for what they really are? Also, I find retelling the story in the review REDUNDANT. I just read the synopsis that BF provides as that is all that is needed. The rest you find out when you play the game.
Same old, same old rehashed story line. I didn't find this game scary at all just boring.
Horrendous, itsy, bitsy, tween, weeny (no yellow polka dot bikini# junk pile to sort through. I prefer HOGS so I don't do puzzles or Match 3. #I still have not figured out the purpose for this childish game).
The graphics/characters/vo were actually not too bad. The music was not much of anything. Didn't seem to enhance a "scary" story.
The hint filled nicely & I actually liked the map!
It's just another game like so many others that have been coming out lately. I wish the devs could come up with some new, ORIGINAL ideas & stop relying on rehashing games over & over & over etc.
I don't recommend this game.
After searching for five years, Princess found her mother – only to have her kidnapped right before her eyes!

Based On Demo: Another abandoned child who finally finds her mother only to have mom snatched away again. Bring on the dragons, fairies & statues that need to be brought to life. Y A W N & B O R I N G.
Graphics: BLUE is the only way to describe them. Usual murky colorization & not realistic at all.
VO: Princess sounds like a over the top drama queen.
HOGS: Usual messy junk piles with minimal interaction. I never did find any of the morphing dragons.
Subpar & not distinct game play. At least you can teleport with the hint button since there is so much back & forth & the SKULL yawns when the hint button is recharged.
My recurring question is always, when or when are the devs going to come up with some new ideas for games? Not soon enough from what I am seeing.
I don't recommend this game.
Professor Ashmore, the same man who so kindly took you in and raised you as his own has been murdered. It’s up to you to find out why, but are you prepared for what truths may be uncovered?

Based on Demo: I thought I was having an episode of de ju vous when I saw the manhole & old lady with a lost cat. This storyline is a definite repeat. If I remember correctly the similar storyline took place in Europe.
So, this is a rehashed game with murky, hand drawn graphics. Nothing new or updated here. The characters are the usual wooden variety with not so great lip sync/eye movements. The music seems to fit the scenes.
HOGS are usual junk pile messes with morphing items & the usual list of must finds. The mini games I came across were not my cup of tea & I found most of them to be boring/tedious.
Standard HOPA which plods along. Not terribly exciting or novel play but if you want to while away a few hours with a game that isn't stressful or challenging this may be the game for you. Give the demo a whirl!!
I recommend this game!
Dark shadows are rising, the spirits are restless and Lord Strix is back! Travel to his hidden lair and defeat him once and for all—but hurry; he grows stronger by the minute!

Based on Demo: Boring, tedious, trite. Nothing worth salvaging from this, again, overrated game.
The game plodded along so VERY s l o w l y. I felt that I was on a scavenger hunt gone VERY bad.
Did not like the graphics at all. They looked like drawings & not very life like. I especially hated the representation of the characters. They were wooden & again not very life like. Perhaps the graphic artist needs a vacation or career change?
I am just really disappointed in the caliber of games lately & their puffed up ratings.
The only way this monstrosity deserves 5 Stars is if there is a GIANT MINUS SIGN in front of it!
I don't recommend this game.
Can you defeat the mist and find your lost brother?

Same old story of a friend or in this case a relative gone missing with other worldly entities involved. B O R I N G. How many more evil people/things are left out there grabbing aforementioned family/friends? I'm an only child & don't have a lot of friends so this amount of lost people is getting out of hand! Where's good GPS tracking or a cell phone when you need it?
I hate the graphics. The colors are muted & look poorly, not professionally, done. The characters look like trolls, not human. Usual boring music.
The story itself is trite & not engaging at all with the usual very messy junk pile HOGS. Some of the mini games were very simple & others just didn't make any sense.
The dragon was cute BUT I didn't get to name him. Try the demo for yourself & lets hope the devs come up with some new story lines...SOON.
I don't recommend this game.

Based on Demo: Another DREADFUL rehashed game given 5 Stars. I just don't understand the logic behind all of these supposed 5 Star games.
The Devs/BF definitely need to go back to the drawing board. The games that are being churned out are simply dreadful. Doesn't anyone have any fresh/original ideas out there?
The color/graphics are HIDEOUS. I thought I was looking at a cartoon & not a very good one at that. The characters are ugly & the daughter was just standing around, with her arms crossed, in the first couple of scenes. I found this to be very strange/off putting. Wasn't real fond of Davy Jones skeleton mask either. VO were the usual but nothing special.
Same old HOG & I found the mini-games to be simple/childish. Nothing to stimulate the old gray cells. Usual back/forth & up/down scenes.
Suppose I should say something nice. So here goes. The hint button filled nicely & the puppy was oh so cute!!!
I don't recommend this game.
Dark Dimensions: Somber Song
Townspeople flee as the black smoke covers their town. Can you close the dark dimension, before it's too late?

The constant 5 star ratings for mediocre, trite, same old, same old games with awful graphics/colors, cartoon characters & so so music/sound effects is becoming most annoying & frustrating.
There is nothing eerie/spooky/exceptional or haunting about this game. I found myself bored & yawning after only a short time of playing this game.
There was the usual jump map & the HOG's were interactive. The couple of mini-games I played were not that challenging. Didn't get too the Match 3 option which was fine with me as I think it is a silly game with no rhyme or reason. It seems like a game for 4 yr olds & not players who want a real challenge.

Based on demo. Not a great game or a must buy but a nice game with the usual handsome swain recuses princess in distress story line.
BF synopsis describes it as a "captivating tale about love & magic". I'll go along with the love/magic part but captivating I guess is in the eye of the beholder!
Graphics=old style, cartoonish
VO/Music=adequate
HOG/Mini-Games=simple/interactive without much challenge
Collectibles=not easily visible & which I only seem to find with random clicking

Cute pet lynx who I named "Lionel". He plays fetch for you.
All in all not a bad game which I found good for adults who do not require much of a challenge or who like too play these games with small children.

The collectibles were a little annoying as there was no rhyme/reason to them. I like to click randomly every so often as I find things strictly through PDL. #pure dumb luck)
