In this continuing Saga of Princesses and their Princes, Blue Tea did not leave us disappointed, however, I did notice the characters weren't as life like as the first Dark Parables nor the ones created just before another game company began working with them, other then that, I found this game to be exquisite! The HOS's always a pleasure to find the pieces needed to create a needed item, beautiful and whimsical items to boot. The mini games were a real challenge even for the patient and experienced players, I'll admit I skipped a few after several attempts but wanted to get back to game play. I would prefer they didn't use the word Daemon in any of the games, even those these evokers were actually referring to the daemon's within, I just prefer to stay away from any game play that has those types of content. Going from personal preference to the scenery, as usual it was beautiful and eye catching, hooray to Blue Tea games! I can't wait until the next game. Seems like we waited forever for this one.
I recommend this game!

I have played a lot of games relating to fairytales and I do believe the take on this particular story was different and unique. Being Alice, then rescuing her daughter in the bonus chapter as the Cheshire, was to say the least a neat take on the story of Alice in Wonderland. You even get to shrink! The scenery was both colorful and eye-catching. Even without the map finding your way around was easy enough although I confess I did use the map at times. HOS's were both challenging and interactive, you even had zoom in scenes. The mini games were variable in degrees of difficulty which was nice because it keeps you moving through the game at a nice steady pace. Collectables were something I was determined to find and I did. Chasing your shadow and trying to reconnect to it then returning home with a hint of what's to come in the shadow when it waves at you and Alice isn't waving, leaves you looking forward to the next release in this game series. Great job!

So when I started this game I was thinking about Greek Mythology given the intro and it was about that but it also came to be about protecting people and bringing things back into balance between the so called Gods. The scenery was colorful and detailed, I loved that. The moving from scene to scene was easy and the map was a big help when sometimes trying to figure out where to go was too challenging especially if you have family distractions around you. (Humor, but true) The HOS's were reminiscent of other games I've played but in a very good way, loved them. The Mini games were a good variety of not so challenging to very challenging. I know this game came out a while back and I just took the time to play it, but it was worth the wait and if you get the chance, play this game. The scenery alone is well worth it.
I recommend this game!

So the time travel in this game is unique in that you have to discover where a Book of Nightmares came from and eventually stop the book from infecting lives and making people disappear. The challenging part, you have to enter the book to do that. The scenery is beautiful and yet at times very dark too. The HOS's were challenging as were the several mini games. The length was just right, not too long definitely not too short, add in the bonus chapter and you have a completely finished story. It's a game worth playing.

I have played all the games in this series and I have to say I loved them all but this one, wow, it surpassed the others in so many ways. In story, in graphics, scenery and the HOS's keep you intrigued along with challenging mini games. The chapters last longer, the story kept moving you constantly forward and then in the bonus chapter, it took you back to the frog prince and how Odette met him. All the parables intertwine in some way and I appreciate that theme. I can't wait to see what they come up with next since this game didn't give a sneak peek in the bonus chapter as the other games did. I hope this series never ends because it's always fun, entertaining and challenging, all the things we look for in a game. Thank you Blue Tea games for Dark Parables!

I love games that involve our most well known Fairytale's and this game captured them all. The mini games were challenging one I even skipped, and I don't normally do that. The HOS's were interactive and fun. The scenery was colorful and detailed, loved it! I wasn't as pleased by the bonus chapter, I had hoped it would pick up where the game left off, instead it went to a missing nurse and who she had become then it was all about darkness and rescuing her. Hansel and Gretel? Not even close. But I still give the creators 5 stars for the detailed scenery and spot on voice overs.
I recommend this game!

What is a more expressive word then just Fantastic? Amazing! Yes this game was everything fun. Colorful and beautiful scenery, interactive HOS's, mini games that were challenging but not frustrating, Voice over's that lined up perfectly, even the story line was different and fun. I can't wait to see what game they release as a sequel to top this one. If I had more then two thumbs, they would all be pointing up!

I found a few things about this game slightly off like the voice overs didn't match the lips on the character's, the story line was week but the reason for the attacks on the nominee's was weak. Hidden treasure? And the person seeking it is never named, the woman is married to someone else, so that put me off. The HOS's were challenging I'll give you that and so were the Mini games although I yawned through most of them. Sorry but I have to be honest. The scenery was nice, detailed and such but the music, well at times it was nerve racking, repetitive. I've played the sequels, they were much better. For beginners this is a good game.

I was a beta tester with this game and I couldn't wait for it to be released. The story plot thickened, that was great, the challenging mini games were great, the scenery was beautiful and inviting, the HOS's were average but still challenging. Over all it was all I had expected and hoped for.
I recommend this game!
