This game was fun! I had to think to solve a lot of the puzzles. Not a typical hos puzzle. I wasn't totally engrossed with the game, so i can't give it five stars. I liked the hos puzzles, and had to use the hint for some of them, which I usually don't do. A worthwhile challenge!!!
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the demo of this game; it is charming like the first Scruffs. I rarely laugh at games, so this was a fun surprise. I played casual, and it was just challenging enough. I did have to use the hint system, and delighted in the dog. A nice game for the casual player!!
I recommend this game!

Finally, an adventure game I can play without a walk-through right next to me! I like playing a game without a lot of sparkles, for a change. As a intermediate player, I found this game challenging, but fun. It is a little odd---like the penguin--but fun. I am not frustrated as I was in playing amerzone, myst, casebook,etc.Those games I could never figure out!!!
I recommend this game!

I liked this game,but not as much as a ce game. I wasn't engrossed for an hour, but frustrated. I didn't know where to go or what to do. Luckily, the hint system helped. However, I give it four stars, as it is okay for one credit.
I recommend this game!

I played the demo, and kinda liked it. The hint button was very helpful, and never felt the need for a sg. However, for a ce, I expect something more. Like more magic quality to it. I liked playing it, esp. when I gained access to the mansion; however, there is nothing special about it to warrant a ce price. Will buy it as a se instead.

I liked this game as it is different. Lots of interesting games to play.The music is terrible; I turned it off. Yes, there are no instructions, but I could bumble through using the hint button.Compared to most other one credit games,this is a buy. I played the trial (everyone should play the trials first), and bought it right after.
I recommend this game!

I wanted to like this game, but there is too much running around. I hate that. It does have an excellant hint system. That was really nice. However, I couldn't get into the story. The victorian house was really boring- just two rooms. Play demo before buying.
I don't recommend this game.

I hated this game, and only played 25 minutes of the demo. I found the hos too dark, and why is a top hat called a cylinder??
I found it boring and confusing. Could find the coffee machine,but not a cup. So I deleted it, as it wasn't any fun.

I love Houdini, but didn't like this game. Finished the Demo. I found this game very boring and irritating.
Why would a bolt cutter be in two parts that you have to combine?
Very tedious. I like the Raven Hint system though. It was the only way I figure out what to do next.

I used to buy all the big city games, but stopped as they were so boring and repetitous. I tried this one, and liked the changes.At last, a game you have no trouble getting stuck. I found the walkthrough and the hint button very helpful, plus the map. The only downside is knowing what to do.But if you don't mind help, this game is fun!!!
I recommend this game!
