I have been well and truly addicted to this game and couldn't leave it be until I achieved all levels with an expert rating. If you enjoy "real tight on time" time management games and match-3 play this is the perfect combination of the two! The game is not so well designed i.e. in the higher levels you don't always have the same amount of higher priced meals as you did at previous attempts to play the same level ... didn't put me off though. I have totally enjoyed the hard won accolade of 91 levels at expert - do you think you can do it too? Give it a go if you like a REAL challenge.

These developers are absolutely top notch I reckon. Total magic from go to woe. Beautiful immersive artwork (which also comprises several very cool backgrounds for your computer); delightful soundtrack; interesting realistic characters ... storyline set out well. Another world visited in one's chill out hour .... hours. Awesome.

Plenty of true Hidden Expedition flavour in this game. As my title says "Stunning Scenes" ... all throughout the game - just beautiful artwork. The player is taken on a journey beginning in an enormous mini town tomb and then to the city, the mountains, the desert ... great variety of locations to stir up and stimulate the imagination. The bonus chapter seamlessly follows the main story and is a very good finishing touch to the game. Doing the Souvenir Room at the end of the game is just awesome as it takes you back through 28 scenes from the game. Very enjoyable game - thank you.

This was an enjoyable game to play. The storyline was not unique but still entertaining. Very good quality graphics, sound effects, speech and music. Quirky and intriguing HOS' - couldn't help but smile at the clever fun that the player will enjoy with each HOS. Mini games not too easy. Pleasant to not have much to read in a diary/journal but probably too little to read so the storyline didn't have as much depth as it could have. Definitely an immersive atmosphere which takes you "somewhere else" during gameplay which is the whole reason I play HOS games with my earphones on .... to disappear for a while into another world. Good game which will not disappoint, and the bonus chapter worth it as it is really well done ...
This episode of the great Ravenhearst saga was one of the very best games I have played and the developers have captured the flavour of the original Ravenhearst series ... hands down! ... Present and correct ... the familiar Ravenhearst creepiness and craziness : - ) The super duper super puzzles are enterwined into the story and I really enjoy the challenge of those unique puzzles which you do not see in other games - you can however have help through the steps if you wish ... The HOS are clever, fun and well done - in fact, the finest graphical details attended to throughout the entire game.
Upon entering the Ravenhearst Museum ... a wonderfully eerie three part scene : "Hello Mr Television Man". The bonus chapter is kooky and fun and from another character's perspective - well worth the play. Even the maps for this game are awesome. It is nice to "meet" some of the team of the developers in the "Making Of". Can't wait to play the sequel to this game.
Have I been there? Where? To Ravenhearst - yes! I have and in true style! Fabulously fantastic game, Thank You.
Wow, a truly enjoyable game! I very much enjoyed the first in the new series and was rapt to see the second! Artwork, atmosphere and music excellent. The storyline is “out there” but more in the “real world” than in a total “fantasy world”. Keep a good eye out for all of the collectibles ... I managed to miss two of them. Also to collect are morphing objects in all scenes – some easy to spot, and some difficult ... I think there were 3 I missed. Truly enjoyable were the hidden object scenes where you have to find items to unlock / untangle something to be enabled to pick up the next item and so on ... – a unique and intriguing way to do a HOS. Lastly, I have to say the Bonus Chapter was excellent, very well done, and very much the “icing on the cake” to the main game. You won’t be disappointed with this game – a very enjoyable play! Go for it!
I was unsure about buying this game due to the mixed reviews but took the gamble. I have finished playing it ... well, almost, as have an "alternate ending" to enjoy to finish off.
Dire Grove quite simply is the backdrop to Dire Grove, Sacred Grove and what a good storyline it is and an "old friend" pops up at the end ... I could certainly "feel" how cold it was too ... reaching for something warmer to put on and it is a hot Summer over here.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game because .... : of the beautiful detailed artwork; the wonderful music; the intriguing storline and colourful characters; top notch atmosphere and one of my favourites is the mini games that took me at least half an hour to complete ... only did 2 or 3 completely on my own ... great fun.
Just to finish my opinion of this game ... it definitely deserves a higher rating and I can't understand the negative reviews ... will anticipate the next MCF game!
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
"Exciting follow-up to the bestselling series" ... so true indeed. Such an enjoyable game from go to woe. Beautiful immersive art. Great characters and voiceovers. Wonderful music. Some puzzles a nice challenge ... some a bit too easy. I express my thanks to all of the very talented people that make such a brilliant game ... can't wait for the next one :-).
This game has all the "good bones" of an excellent TM game but with no "fizz" or challenge. I was disappointed that there was not more incentive to come up with a good strategy to beat the timer because simply, you are given too much time to complete each level on most levels. I was also disappointed that there was not more going on in each level, for example, searching caves for treasure was only on the odd level. I think the concept of the game is fantastic with many new TM tasks such as healing a cursed home or production. The graphics are good but a little more variety for the layout on each level would have been great. I bought this game due to so many reviews and good reviews but ... no real challenge in this one, sorry.
I don't recommend this game.

This is one of the best TM games I have ever played. A real challenge is what I enjoy the most and many of the levels I had to work very hard at passing (Gold). So if you really enjoy racing to the last second to complete a level in gold time this game is definitely for you. The pesky parrots add an extra dimension to the game and on many levels you have to "nut out" the best strategy which was not simple. The graphics are good and each level is unique - I was never bored and very much enjoyed the game from "go to woe" - Thank You Developers.
