I've grown bored with the games being released lately. Storylines I don't care about, very little plot, same old tired locked doors, terrible acting, and stupid HOP's. So I went back and looked for highly rated games and came across this series. Mysterious setting, intriguing storyline, lots to explore and puzzles that are not maddening. It has all the elements of a standard hidden object game, but it wasn't cheesy or boring. I'm going to play all in this series and wish I could find more. This was a very entertaining game, highly recommend.
I recommend this game!

Bought this tonight and played about 3/4 of the way through. It started out interesting but the storyline falls apart very soon. Things just don't even make sense in this game. I won't give details for those who actually want to finish playing it, but I'm disgusted and disheartened and won't finish it. This one was a HUGE disappointment since the ratings made me hope it was finally a good one. P.S. oh and clear indicator the game wasn't quality controlled: some of the text comes out in computer code.
I don't recommend this game.

I decided to ignore the reviews for a change and bought the standard version. I enjoyed the game. It was a good length, had a good storyline, and I had fun. I'm not crazy about puzzles and skipped several as they were challenging but there was plenty else to do in this game. I think it was well worth it and would buy again.
I recommend this game!

I play a lot of these games and honestly I've been getting bored with HOP games. Not with this one! I was very pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this game. The story is very engaging, it is unique, objects you had to find made sense, the puzzles were good but not maddening. Wish I could find more games like this!
I recommend this game!
