I am always so pleased when a TM game comes out and it is not just "run, pound, collect" over and over again. I am a big fan of these building games, Kingdom Tales, Royal Envoy, etc. and am so pleased that another one has finally come out! I just wish there were more of them!
I love TM games. My favorites are building games (Royal Envoy) and tower games. I don't mind playing the standard TM games like the Emily series because the pickings are so slim when it comes to imaginative TM games. This one was not interesting or fun to play. I do not like playing in "full screen" mode and for this game, the characters are so small it's impossible to play unless you are on "full screen" mode. Even with that it is annoying to play. The game play is your basic grab this, fix that. Nothing about this game is new or engaging except the fact that it all takes place in a rug. I played for about an hour and then deleted it from my game list.
I was so happy when I saw they had made a new version in this series. I usually play TM games and especially love the ones that involve a little more strategy (Royal Envoy or tower games). This is a strategy game all the way! It reminds me of RPGs from years ago where you have to search for things, talk to people, get clues on what to do next, sleep, gather food, improve skills, etc. This is a game where time flies by and you don't realize you've been playing for two hours. I was so sorry to get to the end last time, and I'm sure it will be the same this time! Please make more games like this one!!
One of my favorite TM games is the Royal Envoy series and this is very similar. I like it because you can play levels and gain upgrades and then you can replay them to get three stars. It's a nice challenge. Even though you only get to do one task at a time, I don't really mind that because there are many times when I've planned ahead only to find out I didn't make the wisest choice. The only reason it's not a five star for me is because I liked the Royal Envoy series better, but I got a ton of playing time for my money!
Can't get past the first level which is too bad because I love tower defense games! My computer has all the most current installs so I have no idea what the problem is
I usually plan time management games, but the good ones are hard to come by. When I'm waiting for the next one, I like to play fast, not too difficult HOGs. I am by no means an expert in the HOG genre. I like them when they are not too complicated (I want to be entertained, not stressed), not too long (lose interest) and interesting enough to keep me engaged. This game does all of that. So, if you are an expert in HOG and like a real challenge this game probably wouldn't do it for you. But, if like me, you enjoy an occasional HOG, this is a great game. I didn't give it 5 stars because the story line wasn't exactly gripping, but I will try another Shadowplay.
Build powerful weapons and plan cunning protection strategies in this unique Tower Defense game. Enjoy colorful graphics, exciting plot and engaging gameplay!
I love these tower defense games! This one is excellent. I've been playing it for weeks and to me, that is the sign of a good game where you really get your money's worth. I like it because when you reach a really hard level, you can go back and replay earlier ones to build up money so you can buy upgrades. Very entertaining and worth the money!
I had to give this game 5 stars because of one spectacular thing. You don't have to figure out how to get to where you want to go. When you hit the hint button it takes you to your next destination. Once you get there you can use up a hint to figure out what to do, but getting there doesn't cost you the hint. One of the things I dislike about HO games is trying to remember how to get from one place to another, sometimes it can be ridiculously complicated and makes playing the game annoying. So if you are like me, you'll love this series. If you like negotiating complicated maps in your head, this is not the game for you.
Boring, crashing, don't buy. There is nothing enticing about this game. I like TM games where there are chances for upgrades and re-do's for better scores, etc. This is the same thing over and over. Terrible.
I love TM games, and they don't have enough of them. This one was hard to like. It didn't have a flow to it. It seemed hard and disjointed. You couldn't do anything with the money you were making, like buying upgrades, etc. It was just the same thing over and over at faster speeds. I have not played any of the other Youda games, but after this one try I probably won't.
