I played the demo for 16 minutes. Actually wanted to quit sooner, but continued. The HOG scenes are a jumble of anything and everything. Some items are greyed out, and hard to see. It does have a zoom in and out option, but the clarity with the zoom in goes away. The storyline is very boring. The scenes can be the HO outline, words or pictures. Great for little kiddies, but way to boring for adults. Not a lot of instructions to tell you what to do. Even putting in your name at the beginning of the game is a challenge to figure out what to do, once you've typed your name in! Oh! Right, hit the "Enter" key on my keyboard. Really? Other scenes are, "Go figure it out for yourself" too. The graphics for the characters are the same. The woman in the game looks like she's either about to be sick, or she needs glasses! Overall, not my cup of tea.
I will admit that I played this game for less than 10 minutes and quit. I was already bored. The play could use a "replay" button. You have to go back to the main menu, and select the game you just finished to try again for a higher score. It isn't clear as to what constitutes one, two, or three stars for playing each game. The slider concept is interesting, but the graphics level and the fun factor just isn't there for me.
If you love to sit back, relax and take your mind off the daily grind, this puzzle game is not for you! There are virtually no instructions. I love the challenge of a good puzzle game, but this one makes you believe you're brainless, because trying the usual is useless! You'll give your mouse a clicking-good workout trying to figure out what to pick up, where to move, how to get back, why you have to get back, etc. It's WAY too frustrating for me. Even The Tiny Bang gave clues as to what to do. This one leaves a lot to be desired for Big Fish games.

No ghosts, no ghouls, no timer, no coins to earn, just plain, relaxing fun! It's been a while since BF has put out such a relaxing game! The graphics are stunning, the music is soothing, and the whole idea of putting together fragments of Art Deco clocks, much like a jig-saw puzzle is insanely simple! Take your time! There are "hint" puzzle pieces that snap into place when you first start (a feature you can turn off if you'd rather not have the hints) so it gives you a start to placing the puzzle pieces. If you stop in the middle of assembling a puzzle, the game saves your progress. When you drag a puzzle piece, it spins into it's correct orientation so you can move it around to see where it fits. It will snap back to the outside puzzle edges if it doesn't fit. There are varying degrees of difficulty (fewer puzzle pieces for easier clocks...more puzzle pieces for the more challenging levels. There are 25 outrageously gorgeous Art Deco clocks to assemble, from 25 different countries, each with a "theme." For example, the USA theme clock is the Statue of Liberty, with a New York setting. Just sit back on a stressful day, play this game! You'll enjoy it!
This is basically a matching game, with scene after scene full of graphically drawn objects to match in pairs or groups of three. It's exactly like the Clutter games! The storyline is very Steam Punk in nature, with an evil lord destroying kingdom, a good wizard to help restore the ancient tree that keeps the kingdom going. The graphics look hand drawn, unlike the Clutter games, which use high resolution photographs of the items to pair up. It throws in a jigsaw puzzle or two to break up the monotony, but it doesn't help. It's still monotonous. I like a bit more of a challenge.
Wow! And, that's not a good wow! Where do I start? As others have mentioned, the instructions for playing the "slider" type of this board game are few. The object is to slide blocks with colors on top to match each other, while sliding over stars imbedded in the board. Some blocks "lock" into place when you move them, and it makes it more difficult to get around them with other blocks. It is, one puzzle after another. I played for about 20 minutes, was bored out of my mind and quit the demo. I'm not quite sure how this game is going to go over, as it's definitely different from other puzzle type games I've tried. But, this is not my cup of tea. On the plus side, the music is soothing, but I can listen to iTunes to get the same "soothe."

I have the five other Clutter games, and for sure, not much has changed in this version. There are a few new items to match, and the puzzles are new images too...but it's still the same game. I actually purchased this version, thinking it would be a brand new type of clutter, but, alas, it's not. It's still kind of fun to play, but I'm bored. The story line is, well, bizarre, and I'm really not sympathetic towards the character. She whines a lot. But, if all you want to do is match two or three items and break things up with a so-so mini puzzle now and then, this version of clutter is for you.
I've played the other two Mystika games. They were fun, and a change of pace from large-board match three games. The other Mystika games seemed to have the Hidden Object portions closer together; play a few rounds of match three, and break it up with a HOG. This time, it seems as though the match rounds are endless, with the HOG scenes spaced out farther. I would like more HOGs, closer together to break up the monotony of the match three scenes. The graphic scenes behind the match sections are similar in color, and style. It seems as though they've used the same graphics over and over. The music is the same over and over as well, with little variation. I turned the music off. The repetition was annoying. The story line is basic. It's a nice diversion though.

I loved this game and bought it after trying the demo for an hour. My only regret is that my progress wasn't saved after purchasing it and getting right back into it. I have to start all over again, but hey, this is so fun, I don't mind! Pleasant music, nothing bad or scary. You do have to use your mind and eyes to scan every inch of a scene to make sure you find all the objects you need to. The hints are just enough to keep you going, but not over helpful. More games like this please!
I love Hidden Object Games without storylines! I thought this just might be a great game to try. Alas, the scenes are dark to the point where you can't see some of the objects. The music is very repetitive. Who ever wrote the English for the HO items doesn't have a full command of the language. For example: "Decorate Bird," instead of Decorative Bird, or "Peanut," and what you're actually looking for is a bag of lots of peanuts. "Pumpkinlamp," for Pumpkin (I was looking for a small candle!) and the list keeps getting bigger. What is a "Stean?" I used a hint button and discovered it's a pot of some type. It's just too frustrating looking at the list of objects and wondering if it's actually what you're supposed to be trying to find, or if you can even locate it in the darkly drawn graphics! Not very fun, as I had hoped!
