I enjoyed the game. It kept everything located within a few areas which meant no running back 15 screens to find a part or inventory item you can't use for another 30 to 45 minutes. There was no hand holding which was o.k. because it just meant you had to look and find your own way, which is the point I thought. There is a hint for hos. The items at times are very small and hard to find, but again I thought that was the idea. Story line was kind of cool and I enjoyed it. It was worth the purchase for the SE or if you have a freebie. Bit I did enjoy the game play and would purchase a sequel. Not mind blowing as they put it but kept me interested and made me think.

I agree with a lot of the reviews, but I don't think it was as bad as everyone said. It was entertaining and did't require a lot of thought so if you like HOS you would find this an adequate time filler. The graphics were dated, the voice didn't bother me as it did some. HOS were easy but kinda fun not to have magnifying glass out. Story line was different and fairly decent. I did like there wasn't any back tracking really. So if you have free game or want an easy time filler you will find this adequate.
Wow what a fun game this was to play!! I enjoyed this from start to finish! Good game length, fun story with cool portals and story line. Not a lot of running you all over the place. great maps get you where you need to go. Mini games are fun as are HOS scenes. Love that you can click on map and the next area you need to go to lights up. Saves you all the backtracking without holding your hand. And the graphics and voice overs were out of this world!!! I felt like I could reach out and pick things up the graphics were so outstanding!! I have been a BFG member for a long time and have played a lot of games but this one has the best graphics I have seen on here. I loved the first one of the sequel as well so hopefully we can look forward to a 3rd addition.

Game was just o.k. for me and unfortunately it wasn't because of anything other than the story line was just boring to me. I could not get interested and it felt like the game was dragging on and on because of it. The graphics were beautiful, sound was really good and it was a nice game play as far as hints and puzzles. I did like the potion making through out the game, that was unique. I wouldn't say not to get it, because you may be engaged by the story, I just was not and I usually don't have that issue. I just expected more on than what there was. Because it may just be a story line issue for me I would still recommend it for others.
I recommend this game!

The graphics were really good and the story line was pretty decent. Puzzles were fun and could be completed without frustration. They gave good directions on how to play the puzzles. Hint available throughout but you don't need to utilize it much. The game is set up so you have basically just a few areas to travel at any given time so a map was not necessary for me at any rate. I like the little hidden watchers you had to collect , they were in unique places and added a level of fun. Unlocking different nightmares was also a different take so you didn't get bored. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was the length of the game. I was able to get through it in about 1.5 hours so not enough game play as far as I was concerned. But overall a nice little game.

I have done many reviews of many games and this one well...just was boring. I can always find some redeeming quality in a game and have never really given a negative review but this is the one. Slow play, not exciting at all, dumb story line that you just didn't care to follow. I played it through and still am unsure what the villain really did or who he was and then he is still alive at the end?? No confrontation with the villain at all...no map so a lot of back tracking. It was not terrible but if you are going to try it use a game credit. Sorry but average or below is about all I can give it.

Nice game, easy play for relaxing time. Not a difficult game, one of those games you can just play in an evening and relax. Quick hint recharge and help if you get stuck. Story is a little different not a lot but enough to keep your interest. Good to buy as SE or free game credit. Was a little short, only took me about 2 hours if that to complete, that's why the lesser star rating. So all in all not really disappointed. Good for beginners, teenagers.

If you didn't play the first one, I would suggest you do. You don't have to play it to play this but it makes it more complete. Great fun, good length of game play and fun, unique puzzles. I am waiting for the next one to come out!!! Worth the purchase!

This game is a lot of fun!! It has some different puzzles than the norm and help along the way if you need it. Graphics are great and it does not run you all over the place. Nothing worse than getting a tool and you have to go back 12 screen and remember where you were supposed to use it. back tracking is NOT fun. Your items are used fairly quickly and within 3-4 screen of where you are so it makes game play smoother and more enjoyable!! Great buy. I usually wait for the SE but the CE is worth the money in my opinion. It may help to play the first game in the series but it is not a necessity to enjoy the game and be able to follow it. I look forward to sequel #3.

Great game after you get the hang of it. There are a lot and I mean a lot of puzzles to solve. They are medium to high in level of difficulty, so if you like harder puzzles this game is for you. At first I did not care for the game, it seemed to lack any direction at all but I stuck with it and actually started to really enjoy it. it is a different story line than most and seemed to actually have a good plot. I am surprised to say I am looking forward to the sequel. Kind of creepy and left you hanging at the end....
