I would recommend this as a worthy sequel to the early episodes in this series. A game of sufficient length and complexity to merit the extra cost of the CE, with a final chapter that ties up the loose ends of the main game. The only criticism would be that, without this final chapter, the main game feels unfinished.
I enjoyed this game well enough, but would not have purchased had I played the sample. I just did not find it held my attention at all. Lovely game with some truly adorable side characters, but it just was not enough to make this a 4 star for me.
I was really pleasantly surprised by this game. It is genuinely funny (if a bit corny/cheesy) and the story is quite cheeky. I love you can play it on relaxed mode and appreciate the graphics. The CE extras were so-so, pretty standard hidden collectibles in each scene, but I think it was still worth the extra money if you can get it on a sale.
I do not always play time management games, but when I do, its games like this. I love that you can choose where to place the buildings in this game--a factor I enjoy in the Adelantado trilogy and All My Gods. They also have an option where you can simply build with no agenda or goals, which is a fun time killer. I have replayed this countless times.
