Dark Parables is slowly turning into Epic-type level of work. It's lacking the finess that Blue Tea Games had when it was truest theirs. There aren't any cool and beautiful art movie clips and their artwork of the characters are lacking in smoothness. And endings have no completeness. Plus the fabled story clips are no longer there. This game can be completed in 4~5hrs. Game story is shorter too. It's a pity really.
I don't recommend this game.

The game play is pretty straight forward, there isn't lots of jumping around from scene to scene (thank heavens because my finger and hands get tired). The story line is quite good, you'll need to actually play the whole game for the title to fully make sense. Don't base the game title on the demo version.
The puzzles are a little different from other games. The voice overs and cut scenes need a little work, but I don't mind it. The graphics are good. And the best part is the story. I'm totally going to get the next Queen's Tales that comes out.
I recommend this game!

I've played all of Blue Tea Games. And have come to expect more from them in terms of quality, character development, and storyline. Queen of Sands is SUPER DISAPPOINTING. The graphics have gotten worse! I could see the eye and lip movement chopped up, teeth when lips are closed and the details in the eyelid closure was poor too! Play this game then play Snow Queen or Jack and the Sky Kingdom. You can tell the difference! The magical look of the story is missing too. There is less flowery showy locations.
The stories and game play have shortened. I finished Queen of Sands in less than 3 hrs! There was also less intertwining of fairytale stories here. The Beauty and the Beast theme was forced, lack of character development! Darn, I'm hesitant to give Dark Parables another try, since I can tell another one will be coming out. Every since Eipix jumped on board with the Little Mermaid, the quality of the games has steadily declined.
I don't recommend this game.

I guess I've come to expect Blue Tea Games to have high quality and long story games. This one is exception, I found this game to be very short compared to their other games. The whole story and bonus chapter could be finished within hours. I would have liked to have them develop the characters more than they did in this game. On a positive note, I love their spin of Jack and the beanstalk. The graphics were nice, details were lacking a bit, same with their usual vibrant colors. Voices and backgrounds were well done. There weren't as many puzzles in this game. I'm giving 3 stars because of the cost wasn't worth the game this time.
I don't recommend this game.

Jessica would never imagine that her big day would turn out to be a nightmare; they had an accident and Jonathan McNealy, her husband is missing.

So maybe I'm a little naive, because I didn't expect the ending to be how it was.
It's was a bit cheesy in the demo and where it left off and all, but I'm glad I got the game. It's a straight forward HOS with logical item usage. It's a little tedious going through all the rooms to get to a place but I ended up loving the storyline. A quick game play. If you've got a coupon or free game code, get this game!
I recommend this game!
