I have all the Danse Macabre in CE even though it's not my favorite series. I like most of them. My favorite was Thin Ice. I like the idea of a dance related mystery.
I knew when I bought it and checked the data by going to Queue on the game manager when it was downloading it would be short. But I already bought it and hey who doesn't like a new game to play. The data total for this game is 859mb. Lots of games are over 1G. and even 1 and a half Gs. (Witches Legacy: Covered by the Night) I think there is a way to tell by the specs they give. I wish they would list the data number under the buy button like they do the trial and with both figures, total data and just the other half if you already downloaded the trial.
Well I now know the secret to the mystery. I really like the first half of the game and then it was dragging for me. Was disappointed in the mini window hops. Only liked 4 puzzles. The story seem extreme and the children emotions were not matching. Not that I would welcome the emotions either. They didn't have enough Hops for me and too many puzzles.
Liked the idea of a Irish dance family. My favorite hops were the snow globes, umbrellas and the two with the Leprechaun.
Favorite puzzles were running between train cars, bike route, violin, Simon said dance steps in the bonus. Which are all easy.
5 chapter + Bonus 38 infinity signs and 14 morphs in the Hops. 8 concept art and 8 wallpapers 9 music tracks Replay in 14 hops and 19 puzzles 6 video 30 souvenirs match-3
Spider-boy makes a appearance. The first hops had a doll from the game The price of Immortality which is my favorite in the Puppetshow series. The Bonus has book cover with Rosie and others from other games. A picture of Big Fish is in a cable car hops. Loved it.
This game is a hidden object game and the puzzle portion is not for puzzle lovers in my opinion. They will find it too easy. It is also not for helper haters. Or for true to life in games lovers.
This game is for people who like fun, not hard puzzles. Hops Lovers. People who like steampunk. It's not heavy on the steampunk like Lightning Strikes and The Price of Immortality. I really love the steampunk. People who like small easy jig-saw puzzles.
You can pick your character from 6 choices, 3 women and 3 men. I couldn't find one like me, with blue eyes.
You name your doll helper which is the cutest, with a cat eared pilot hat. I named my Skittles because she's so sweet.
Your collectibles are 6 music symbols in the main game which is a chip. Why not in every scene? Why didn't they have a indicator for the collectible to let you know there in the scene? The doll dances to the notes. I've seen better in a Collector's Edition. 10 morphs in the bonus game. The worst morphs I've ever seen. The morphs are stars that look like a sparkle for a place to notice in the game. They just stop and start sparkling. Seen better.
The guide was a disappointment. A few puzzles were unclear how to make it work. The guide didn't help and said "Solutions Vary". While all the guides I seen, had squares indicating where collectibles are, pink for this item, yellow for this item and they state what the item is for this or that color. You get the idea for more than one item to collect. This failed to indicate that there were two different items to collect or what item belong to what color. I found out by looking at the achievement that they even had so call morphs.
I didn't like the fight puzzle at all. I just keep connecting 3 in a row until it ended. I didn't think the man should be hitting a woman. Didn't like fooling with the lights and have no clue even with the guide how to work the green computer stick people puzzle which is in there twice. Didn't like grab wires with stick body parts. Couldn't do this one.
Even with my complains, I still Love this series and hope that they do better next time. I still Liked the game and had fun.
I liked the jig-saw puzzles. The hops. These puzzles-pick the right rune parts, key parts, wider trace with your cursor, get ball in center of circle maze, different color balls in maze puzzle, matching pairs, guide Michael through rocks falling, In bonus, deflecting shots and in right order.
You have to collect all of the gems to play the hidden chapter. To play you go to the page with a woman adore in gem once you found all of them and it will take you to the hidden chapter which you fight with the siren and have I think 3 more puzzles.
The achievements are sea creatures and related items which are there but faint. Once you achieve them they aren't faint any more. The picture is under water. Nice looking.
My favorite hops were, opening the seahorse gate and the greenhouse. In bonus hops sea creatures.
16 movies, 8 music tracks. Replay 14 hops and 13 mini-games. No morphs.
Didn't understand bookcase puzzle even with the guide and hint.
Bought this the first day and already played it twice for the main game and three times for the bonus and I Love it. I was missing a puzzle piece and was finish and it let me redo the bonus. The more I played the more I loved it. So replayed the whole game again. I Love all the Witches' Legacy games. I Love the Hops and the Imagination and the fun puzzles because there isn't a lot of puzzles I like but some are great and fun for me. I like the sameness on games in the details like the hint looking the same. Familiar.
This game has 22 hops. 14 in main game and 8 in the bonus. The music is really good. Especially the credit song. Has 12 tracks. 33 morphs and I especially like this series' morphs they are common objects that turn to common objects and their not too big or too small I just like them. 36 puzzle pieces. They have them in every scene but put a few in the small open boxes.
The puzzles I liked were more than normal for me. I especially liked the old school video game. Leading Jack through the clouds. Match the monsters. Select 2 elements, which is layered and ending with a simple connect the dots. Some simple jigsaw puzzles. In the bonus, a game is music related. It's a music plate call sinister music sheet and you simply put notes on the board to equal a small number on 2 sides. Felix as a boy and you place items in his 3D village to the story. Witches' Legacy is not for puzzle masters so don't play it and complain and try to kill our beloved series! Live and let live. Play and let play!
My favorite hops is the Halloween treat display made by Anabel's classmates for her. It's used twice as is most hops in this game. The mice are really cute and are used twice. The bonus, has a great ancient cave hop that had some delights for me. The fan while beautiful, wasn't as fun as a list and a full art filled page. I think that the game maker was trying to please people who really don't care for the series and was doing newer things like pick the item high lighted in a story and it's not as fun as the traditional hop with a list, finding them from a art color page. They shouldn't fool with a classic for non caring people.
By the way, the person with long hair is a dude. Wyrm is a Chinese Dragon.
In the bonus, you have a guillotine and I couldn't connect it's use on a object.
Only used Ferret 5 times I think. I like her.
The bonus, has Anabel and her Ferret friend, saving friend and foe. Saving the foe may change the next storyline. And Anabel may be changing her relationship status on her face book page. Don't want to spoil it for some. But since this series doesn't have all the extras like replaying hops and puzzles or video. It does have really good morphs and puzzle pieces to make 4 puzzles. The CE vs. SV. Your choice.
Big delay in scenes. Has Blood moon while you wait a second. I noticed when I was downloading that it was 1.2 G and trial was 483.87 m. Meaning a lot of data. So it's richer. I had not one glitch on my Windows 10.
Had some unpleasant sounds but was short lived. Fox, crow and beating heart.
Did you see the Chinese Lantern Flowers at the dorm?
They have some action games and I Love that they have a Start button. It's bad when the action is going on and your reading the instructions. They have the best map. You have to see if you have all your collectibles and it marks where you have something to do and when a different area has a hop that has something you could use, this is a must.
I think the owl attack could of been handled better and it was lame the way they did it. But you can't have every thing.
Who puts cheese in chocolate? Not me. Better apart. ( that's on the treat tray hop)
This game feel like a chore to me and I wasn't having fun. I deleted it straight away. Loved Nevertales: The beauty within, Smoke and mirrors but has tech problems on my Windows 10 and the Best-Legends. This series seems like it's going down hill for me. Didn't like hidden doorway either. Well Mad Head has at least 2, I don't like.
The bonus game has creatures. Harpy, Leprechaun, troll, cute furry creature and Ice Golem.
The Chimers made everything right in the Bonus game, kind of like father Christmas. The bad guy has to change his sinful ways by going back through 4 doors- Greed, Pride, Wrath and Envy.
Since the game's main theme is justice the cards you collect have one word and a picture of a woman portraying this word. Like lust. Kind of like deadly sins. No clicking on them for additional info. Very disappointing.
5 Chapters + Bonus.
48 puzzle pieces which are 4 screensavers. I missed one and I can't go back to get it very disappointing. Only have 3 screensavers if I don't replay the whole game again.
12 cards, 12 concept art, 5 music tracks, 11 wallpapers, achievements. Secret Room has a very small bonus game, replay of 13 mini-games and 15 hops.
I loved the mystery of the main game and it has some puzzles I really liked. Find pairs, jeweled ring puzzle, sign language game.
I think the map is much improved from the last game. Loved the animal lamp. Nice details.
Did you see the Iceland poppies and the African violets?
Has 4 modes of play. They all have them now right? Has any one played it on Super mode? ( the hardest)
This opens with a hop so I bought it before I finished it. So glad I did. But I think for a hidden object game it should have more hops than twelve. It's a hidden object game after all.
I know all those who say it's too easy played this on the hardest level so their assessment is accurate. Not. yah they all played on the Super mode and found it too easy. It was so hard I missed 5 puzzles pieces that I can't get after I was done and I missed 3 morphing umbrellas that I can't retrieve. Well, I'll just have to play it again.
I liked the bonus game more than the main game I think. Some thing about a child's dream to get a crazy fun few pages. Such a cute baby dragon.
Enjoyed reaching for the moon while avoiding a cloud or bat puzzle. Like moving colored jewel in the proper place. I like matching but they could of had more that six bees. Select items in the correct order.
In the bonus my favorites were a jigsaw puzzle, paint by numbers, connect the ghosts of the same color and find what's morphing in this scene, which it could of had more morphs in that scene.
Don't like fool with it until it works.
Did you see the Bohemian waxwing Birds?
Scenes are a little muddled and would of preferred clear and bright.
Map is super fast and easy.
12 collectible cards that are the twelve months with traditions of Ronas their city.
36 puzzles pieces that are your three screen savers. 16 wallpapers 5 music tracks Secret room is your repayable 12 hops and 13 mini-games. 29 morphing umbellas 5 chapters + Bonus game. No video and I would like to have it. I've been playing since 2010.
Thank You, my Fishy sisters and brothers for letting me know what to look for in a Collector game. I didn't notice until two months ago when I was reading a review that I could replay Hops and mini-games. I don't normally read the details, just play the video clip and some reviews and try it. I always bought the Collector's for the guide. I do Love morphs but sadly I didn't seem to miss them in this Great game. No Morphs.
21 hops, 17 mini-games, 4 music tracks and video to replay. 15 myth buster cards. I thought I missed some coins (metals) to get all my cards but I got a great surprise. I enjoyed stopping and reading the cards and going back to the game. I like the rewards flashing on the screen like I won a award. Sort of like a old school pin ball machine.
6 Chapters + Bonus Nice flow. I do this and have this and place this and keep moving.
I loved the carnival gift shop hops and the old school arcade, Skeleton hockey, basketball, crane machine, pin ball.
I loved the stain glass jig saw puzzles. Fixing the tracks and running the toboggan through the tracks.
Hate limited sight but loved maze where you pick up items to advance through. The limited sight makes me dizzy.
I don't know how I feel about the slide rule hops. My favorite is the classic list but for all those who wanted some thing new, here it is. Be careful what you wish for. Some times your own green grass is better. Slide rule is OK. List is better. In my opinion.
Had a hard time placing some items. It took several attempts. Example only 2 items to place syringe and medicine. It just didn't want to work. Had to hit hint. Then do it.
Germ sample, combining samples you have to click every box individually. No click and drag.
In the hops where you connect the dots you have to click on every star. I had to click the map right on the word or it didn't work.
In the Bonus: Did you see the ERS bunny in the hops? Why do I need a key to get out of my room because I'm in a game. Loved the fairy collection in the hops. It's all in the details!
So far I Loved 4 in the series and have one more to do. This one, in my opinion is just ok.
I didn't like it as well because the hops were too cluttered. Some objects you use for tools are not normal. Some places you don't find, without the hint. These reasons are why it wasn't as fun for me.
You can replay the 27 puzzles, 18 hops, 6 movies. For a hidden object game you would think you would have more hops than puzzles.
18 wallpapers, music and souvenir room and 44 globes to collect.
The art work in the scenes are beautifully done. I especially liked the swans in the fountain, inside the governor's mansion and the moonlight over the docks and clearing.
My favorite puzzles are the wheel that you find three items that relate and in the bonus, colored beads in the proper place.
As in most Eipix beautiful games I hate some sounds. Annoying sounds when you retrieve a item. I'd rather turn down the sound than not play.
I can't not recommend because it's not a bad game. Just my least favorite. OK.
My favorite part is the list Hops. 10 hops in game. 6 in Bonus. Could of been more hops.
Lots of mini-games which I liked because I can play most of them. Mostly involves runes.
5 Chapters + Bonus.
Extras are wallpaper, music, vg team and concept art. No morph or replaying hops or puzzles. Collect hearts.
Some hops and scenes are sea related which I loved. Nice ocean sounds.
I've been playing since 2010 and I'm not puzzle happy but liked these because they're fun and relaxing. It's a hidden object game, not a puzzle game after all.
Matching spiders, finding the right rune symbols, maze, marble in labyrinth. Arranging color skulls, recreate eagle, different in 2 deer, set moon phases which they have a picture for a guide, click birds in the right order, lead owls of the same color without crossing paths, find constellations with scope, find non-matching symbol, find match symbol-this one they did a lot. Catch ball in a container, Arrange 4 elements, arrange coins, play bells.
I have a blue flame companion which I didn't mind.
In the bonus you have more list hops, more matching symbols, Gargoyle which asks riddles and you find out about the blue flame.
