Based on the completed game and bonus material.
I haven't bought any in this series before. I liked the trial so I bought it. I was very impressed with the accuracy of the Egyptian items. They had the proper wordage for the tools, clothes and animals. They did their research. We all know that some makers haven't even cared enough to proof read or fact check. So I found this a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed this game.
It's not perfect but they put in some effort. Most mini-games were the one's I like to play which is relaxed. I found a puzzle that had no hint or skip. It took me a little bit, but I managed it. I'd like for the text to be on screen longer so I could read all of it. I would also like to have a paper recipe or instruction bought up bigger so I can make it out.
The hops graphic are on a larger scale that is easy on the eyes. I would call these lovely. Meaning I really loved the illustration. They have some morphing items. They are things already on your get list. I've seen one to three in a hop. They didn't list them in the guide. Which they should. To use the guide you have to go to the menu. You don't stop your game. It's like using the menu for the options.
I did like collecting 33 Stars and 4 Diamonds. They have a indicator on the tool bar. It's a Scarab Amulet that glows until you have all the collectibles found in the scene. I didn't miss any but I kept checking to see if I could retrieve a missing star and I don't think you can. You finish the collecting before the bonus chapter.
The bonus chapter starts three days before the main game. It has Akiiki in it.
The game has a few places that has the main person or bird clear and the background blurred. I think it's to have you play attention to that person or bird. Falcon in bonus. I would of preferred for every thing to be clear.
It has 4 Chapters. The guide is 59 pages. I don't know how many pages is good, so I opened another game with 6 chapters. The game starts with Dead R and it had 33 pages. Go figure. The data total for this CE is 669.1mb. I'd call that average length.
I counted 17 hops in the main game and 5 in the bonus. That's 22 hops. Now a days, I think thats plentiful. I would recommend this game for hops lovers and not for puzzle lovers who need a challenge to be happy
The bonus content has replays of 8 hops, 6 mini-games, 5 music tracks and 6 cut scenes. 12 wallpapers and 12 concept art.
I recommend this game!

This game came out July 2015. I bought it Mar 2017. Waited until I felt like playing it. I just finished the whole game Feb 23, 2018.
I enjoyed this game and was wowed by some of the futurist things they came up with. They have a cute robot named nib. I loved the future apartment and world.
I'm big on the extras. I loved collecting 44 rockets. They have a nice rocket by the hint and it lights up when you find it. I was able to get some of the rockets I missed but I didn't wait until the end. I played on and off for four days and when I turned it on I would just go to the extras and click on rockets and pick up any I missed.
They really had some nice details. Just opening to the main page they have a movie billboard that scrolled some Mad Head games. The Indian rubber ducky was cute. The 50's diner is cool. You have morphs in the hops and when you found it, it would jump into a cage. The end credits has a full movie poster and Nib the robot flying around.
I play for the hops. There are 16 hops in the main game and 5 in the bonus chapter and as I mentioned they have morphs.
My favorite hops in the main game was the wigwam and dishes in the cupboard. In the bonus chapter my favorite hops are the woodland flowers.
This game has a sense of humor. Que the foil hat. I was thinking when polly said, polly wants a cracker. M wants the sound off. The rest of the game the music was pleasant.
I love the manual puzzles. The ones you have to time it just right and hit it. I also like in the right sequence and a cold, warm and hot puzzle. The bonus chapter puzzle that you adjust all the setting to shoot a marble and hit a certain spot.
Mad Head games also made-Fright Chasers, Dawn of Hope, Donna Brave, Maze, Adam Wolfe, Cadenza, Shadowplay, Rite of Passage, Dark Realm and Nevertales.
FYI for the CE- replay 21 hops, download 11 music tracks, 12 wallpapers, 40 piece jigsaw puzzle, one mini-game match three heads, making of, Ultimate hops and achievements. There was 21 morphs in the hops and 44 Rockets to collect.
* CE stands for Collector's Edition.
I recommend this game!

Equal with 20 hops and 20 puzzles. I enjoyed this game. The puzzles were relaxed enough for me to do. I only skipped two because I really didn't want to do them.
Spoiler alert.......
This fantasy game has golems, fairies, dragon, centaur and other creatures. I think the forest creatures are the cutest. In the town, I kept playing with the store signs as they are interactive. The best ones to play with are the dragon, beer troll and superstitions books.
I collected 16 Mythical Creatures, 20 crystals and 6 feathers.
The bonus chapter is a prequel. I bought this without trying it first. It worked for me this time.
I recommend this game!

Based on the completed game with the bonus chapter
I highly enjoyed the last two games in the series-Covered by the night and The City that isn't there. They were relaxed games. Very nice list hops done just right. I have every game in the Witches' Legacy in CE.
Now you have a non-witch character. Tons of story hops that are more a pain. The 32 puzzles out number the 24 hops. Didn't like the Match 3 color balls that you shoot at. The scenes were so dark, I had to put my monitor brightness on 100%. I was so disappointed. I didn't like some characters yelling at me either. I rolled with it until about the 4 chapter, then I was dragging. I did like the master puzzle and the maze. I also liked the Grimoire and making the potions.
I gave a extra star for the perks, that I so love. The perks are monster print collectibles that you make into 8 jig-saw puzzles. The 31 morphs are fun. If they make another one like this one, I'll be done with this series.
The bonus chapter has a new foe called Trickster. I think the bonus chapter had better hops. It has one underwater that has shells that I think was nice. More list hops that I like.
I want the series back the way it was.

A word of warning. Things jump out at you. I loved this. It really had the surprise factor for me.
It has 6 Chapters. 622 mb.12 hops. The graphic are great. The scenes are artful. It had some puzzles I liked. I liked shooting. I think it had some funny parts. I liked it enought to buy the CE but they say there are no collectibles, so I won't.
I didn't like when you have continue. I had to click on the word continue or I wasn't moving.
I recommend this game!

This game is not recommended for Windows 10. I tried it and it worked for me. It came out in Dec 2013. I bought it Sept 2017 and just got around to it Feb 2018. I liked it. Combining the plus items was different. I had to lay one on top of the other in the tool bar.
This story is on Christmas Eve so you have the Christmas trees in the scenes. It's snowy. I really liked the extras. You collect snowflakes to decorate a outdoor winter scene. You buy items to put in the winter scene. It's one of your screensaver. I liked the screensavers because they move around. I try them for a few days. The achievements place things in your dining room, Christmas themed and you click on them and they have info.
I play for the Hops and entertainment. They have 22 hops. 16 hops in the main game and 6 in the bonus. I like my hops large, artful and visible. I got it in aces here.
I'm not a puzzle gamer, but I found 3 I liked. Fishing, painting and medicine making.
I liked the story. The game play wasn't oblivious to me. So glad I had the guide.
If you like the perks like me. 7 Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art, 5 movement screensavers.
Replay 7 music, 35 movies (good to remember a game if it's been some time), 18 mini-games and 11 Hops.
I recommend this game!

I loved the trial and I bought it. I soon found out that the best of the game was in the trial. I liked the extras. The hops are OK. I did like the morphs in the hops. There are 18 of them and you can replay them. They don't have the morphs in the guide and I think they should be. I really liked a few puzzles. The ones that you start up a console with multiple steps.
This was a bit too mechanical for me, for my taste and though the game was nice art-wise. It wasn't lovely. The excitement quickly faded for me. I need more adventure.
The details I liked were- Flowers and the drone.
Since I did buy it, I take comfort in the extras. The showcase has 6 jig-saw puzzles of characters from the game with info.
12 wallpapers, 8 concept art, achievements.
Replay 18 hops, 6 music.
They have some thing called the Ultimate puzzle and I couldn't understand what they wanted to play it. Treasure Hunt opens with a screen full of drawings. It took me to scenes to collect things.
I don't recommend this game.

5 Chapters + Bonus chapter
767.3 mb
I have all of the Puppetshow games. This one's first hop had so many throwback characters to the past games. Several more had characters from the past games. It was like a reunion. It even had mechanical cat. But no spider boy.
The black haired doll is so cool. She even walks like a doll. She's cute and I look forward to seeing her in the next puppetshow. ( I hope she makes a appearance).
The puzzles are fun and relaxing. Lots of in the right order and matching. You can replay 11 select mini-games. I enjoyed them. The hops are plentiful and the art is large and beautiful. It was nice not getting out the magnifying glass. I didn't like the riddle hops. You can replay 19 hops, I think this is a good amount.
I liked some details- The Bunny Topiary and the flowers. The dumpling eating crow. He didn't just disappear either.
This game has a sense of humor to it.
The collectibles- I Loved collecting the flowers. They go to a page and has the meaning of the flower. Delphinium is my favorite. But I Love all of them. 29 Morphing Snowflakes. They are slow most times. There is a indicator for both the snowflake and flowers. I kept pressing the rose on the hat indicator to read about the meaning of the flower I just collected. I didn't get all of the snowflakes. I was shy 2. I couldn't go back for them in the end. I can use the bonus content. But since I didn't get all of them. You could have more than what I have. I did notice on the screensaver, I chose the flowers and on the picture where you save it, it was full of flowers. I glanced at it when it was working and it has a few flowers not all. I did collect all the flowers.
The bonus chapter is what happen after. I liked the ending.
7 wallpapers, 16 concept art, 5 screensavers, 4 music, achievements.
Replay 21 movies, 19 hops and 11 mini-games.
I recommend this game!

We are in 1929. I was crazy for the cats in the town. The mythical beings and the magical items. How often do you see a cyclops? I liked that she was rewarded for good deeds. I didn't have a problem with the art. I think they made the gods stand out. I think every thing was nice artwise.
I think the extras are shy. Only 13 morphs. But better morphs than no morphs. Only 15 collectibles. The replay of 8 hops and 8 mini-games. Seems like small numbers to me. In the achievements they have Meta game items that only pictures the five items of the gods that you used. They also have a book that pictures the 13 morphs. I did like the 9 pretty plates from the achievements.
The indicator was good and served for both collectibles and morphs but you didn't know which one. The morphs seemed senitive. I had to click several times on it after I saw it change for it to register.
The bonus chapter is what happen afterwards. I liked the story but I thought the gameplay was harder. I didn't know why I would do some things.
Overall I loved the game. I'd like to see what they come up with next time. I didn't have any problems with this game. The game is data rich at 1.4 Gs.
Bonus content-8 concept art, 8 backgrounds, 6 characters.
In achievements-Meta game items, morphs and 15 collectibles on a mural. No info.
Replay 6 cutscenes, 8 hops and 8 mini-games.

I loved Cats town and the cat snowmen. The Russian dolls. The bakery and sweet shop and making coffee. Hitting a gift with snowballs. Skis. Fire Lizard and Blacksmith Gnome.
There's a throwback to Elephant games in the toy factory.
The 12 Morphing Mice. Collecting 36 puzzle pieces to make 3 screensavers.
