I LOVED THIS GAME! I normally get bored with most HOG games, but this one kept me glued to my seat the whole time. I tend to play more Time Management and Card and Board games than I do HOGs because I do not have the attention span to finish most of them, but I had to keep playing Angelica Weaver because I needed to know what was going to happen and how it would end. This game is different from most HOGs and a lot of fun. I also liked the fact that it was more adventure/puzzles than H0 scenes, since I do not like when there are too many of those back to back.
The story is gripping, and the game play is challenging without being too frustrating. The hints were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction, and I did not need to use the strategy guide very much because of that. But if someone needs a lot of hints and feels as if they aren't getting enough help, they can always use the built in strategy guide (if they buy the CE). Hints were easy to collect and I always had more than enough of them throughout the game.
Angelica being in the corner seems to annoy most people, but I liked having her there since it made me feel like I was playing the game with a friend. Once you get really in to the game and story, you often don't notice that she is there. So I don't think her being on the screen should be a deal breaker when it comes to someone buying this game.
The bonus game is long and adds a lot to the story, so I think this game is totally worth buying as a CE because of that. It also had some really fun puzzles in it. In general, I loved the puzzles throughout the game, and only skipped one of them. The bonus game feels like it is part of the main game and doesn't feel like a last minute thing that was tacked on, and that made it as fun to play as the rest of the game.
I spread out my playing over a few days, and I was sad when the game ended, since I felt like I was saying bye to a friend. I really hope the Devs will make a sequel(s) for it since I totally think the game lays the groundwork for what can be a great series! More Angelica Weaver please!
I recommend this game!

I am new to Time Management games and recently got addicted to the Cake Mania series. So far, I have played Cake Mania Main Street and Cake Mania Lights Camera Action, and I found that those games can get hair pulling frustrating rather quickly. Perhaps this is because I am new to these kind of games, but I just started playing Cake Mania To The Max today and so far I have found it to be easier than those games but just as fun. I recommend Cake Mania To The Max to people that are new to Time Management and/or have found those other games in the series too challenging. People who are more experienced with these kind of games might find it too easy, but so far I find it to be the right level of challenge for a beginner, and I think it has a cute story and fun characters.
I recommend this game!

This game is really fun and has provided me with hours of entertainment. It took me many days to finish it the first time, since I found the last 2 levels particularly challenging, and needed to visit the game's forum here for some tips on how to pass them. Now that I finished the game, I am playing it over again so that I can obtain all of the achievements since I missed out on 2 of them the first time. I am new to this kind of game, and I really enjoy how it allows you to be a restaurant entrepreneur. I also love Flo and the Dinertown characters and it was fun to have them in a game that is different than the Dash series. I enjoy Dash games too, but this is not one of them. It is slower moving and involves a lot of strategy. Sometimes you need a strategy to pass levels in Dash games but this is different than that. I find it to be more of a thinking game than those games, but still just as fun. I know it has been a few years but I hope they will make a sequel for this game. I would buy it in an instant!
I recommend this game!

I am new to TM games and I really like the games with Flo and the Dinertown characters but find most of them very challenging. This game seemed easier than Diner Dash and Cooking Dash, I was able to get through it without being too frustrated, like I have been with Cooking Dash, but it was still fun. I would recommend playing this game before you play those other Dash games if you are new to TM.
I recommend this game!

I just finished the demo and am thinking of buying this game. Another reviewer here said this is a kids game, but I don't agree with that. Although you can play these puzzles with kids and they might like them, I think adults can find enjoyment from this game too. I guess it just depends on if the level of challenge is right for you. Although I did find some of the puzzles easy, the Spot the Difference I played was easy and so was the Word Search I did, I also found some of them challenging. I am new to Sudoku so those kind of puzzles challenge me and the one I played in this game did. I also found the game Codeword, which I have never played before, to be challenging as well.
One of the things I like best about this game is that there is a variety of puzzles, at least 7 or 8 different kinds. There also appears to be hundreds of these puzzles to do, so this game is enough to keep anyone busy for awhile and seems to be good value. I would recommend that people give it a try and find out if it is the kind of game they enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Some people have compared this game to the MCF Ravenhearst games, and I think this game is in the same ranks as Return to Ravenhearst, it is that good! When people say this game is vast, they are not kidding. I could not believe how many different scenes were in this game. Just when I thought I had explored everything, more scenes/rooms to explore popped up. There is a map that tells you what rooms are active, but unfortunately it is not interactive, so there is a lot of roaming around, and if people don't like that in a game, they probably won't like it in this one. I didn't mind the roaming around in this game because there seemed to be a logic to it. When you are done with a part of the house, you don't have to go back there again and you keep moving forward.
Another thing I really liked about this game was that there are more puzzles than H0 scenes, and many of the puzzles are unique and challenging. I try not to skip puzzles in games, but there were a few I got too frustrated with, so I skipped them. I enjoyed many of the ones that I did complete, and appreciated the challenge. In general, this game is challenging. The hint system isn't very helpful and the map fails to be helpful sometimes as well. It tells you the rooms that are active, meaning there is still a task to complete there, but if you go to that room it doesn't mean you will be able to complete the task at that time. You still might need to find another inventory object before you are able to. There were a couple of times where I had to use a walkthrough to figure out what to do next, since the hints and map were not helping at all and I was stuck.
What else makes this game so great you may be wondering. The voice acting has a lot to do with it. As others have mentioned here, the voice acting of the villain, Oscar, is phenomenal, and really adds a lot to the creepiness of the game.
This game is addictive, immersive, chilling, fun and long! I didn't time myself, but I would guess that it took me at least 6 or 7 hours to complete the game. I highly recommend it, especially to people who enjoy adventure and puzzles, more than H0 scenes.
I recommend this game!
