Sounds real simple, match 2 balls of the same color. It can get real complicated unless I watch the whole board and plan ahead. As the game progresses the boards get very tricky. This is something my brain loves. BrickShooter Egypt was my all time favorites, still is, but Quadrium is less complicated not having to match 3 blocks. Between the two of them I am in heaven. Play Quadrium you will like it... or it will frustrate the heck out of you and you will never play it again.
I will qualify my review with the statement that I own all of the Parable stories and enjoy playing them. This story got off to a good start. Detective gets to town and has to figure out what is going on. It goes downhill from here. Boring is my word for it. No story, no background as to what is happening. The detective runs back and forth picking up and putting down objects. She is definitely not herself. Instead of being in charge and going through adventures, she is running errands for people all through the game. People that stand there, arms folded across their chest staring at her. Not my idea of a good game.
I am 70 and I have never been able to understand the game of chess. This game gives me a hole new perspective on the game and I am beginning to understand it. Yes it is simple... REMEMBER, it is for very young children. It leads by simple steps, at first seemingly unrelated, into an understanding of the chessboard and the movements of the chess pieces. I am at the point that I will begin to play the game and this time I will understand what I am doing, hooray for me!

I really like the game play, it is my current favorite. Unique action for a match 3 game, different every time and every board. Very enjoyable. The one thing that is a drag is the commentary. Out of curiosity I tried and eventually bought the second of the Lost Souls game. This currant addition is stupid. It is so much rambling with no resemblance to the first 2 games... ignore it and enjoy the game.

The reason I say this is the game does not have a plot, story line, game play, logic or anything else interesting going for it. This is a shame because I like all the other Dark Tales games. It has a number or gizmos and gimmicks but beyond that... do not waste your time.

I did not expect much when I came across this game. I am 70 and jaded when it comes to scary games, I do not much care for them. I play a lot of games. This one surprised me. Consistent quality graphics, consistent quality story line. Very little fresh blood and good scares at the least expected moment. It did not take long for me to hate the little girl. I really like the variations on hidden object scenes and other puzzles, they are very inventive. Try it, you will like it.

I am an older gamer so many may disagree but, this is a child's game. I have all the games in this series. The first two had good story, interesting game play and I do play them over and over. This one had a lot of inconsistencies, a poor story line and what got me the most was that the big strong centaur stood around while the heroine did all the work. He was the only one that could make the sword. Well, He stood there while the heroine made the sword... and she did all of the game play in her fine lace dress. Go figure.

Higly flexable and entertaining. I have tried all the jigsaw games I could find. This has spoiled me for others. The game has an open structure that allows replaying ,creating a puzzle from any source plus cheats and mystery mode. I wax long and loud... give this game a try.
