Still the same sexist content. These games are fun for the festive season but I wish they would update the content. The 'mums' always are portrayed as mumsy types with no hobbies except baking and putting on lipstick.
I love the sumptuous pictures of the decorations in people's houses, but it is all so middle class. Grandma is always in the kitchen while granddad is always reading the paper.

Wow this is the first HofH game I have played. I really love it. Started off with the untimed as I know I spend too much time thinking about games, now I'm on the timed version and have only found time difficult with the very last games.
THis is a very intricate game with allsorts of challenges I have used a lot of time playing this - its very addictive. Now I will look a the earlier games.

THis game has great potential as the puzzles are good. Unfortunately the art work is abysmal. I worked through the game to the bitter end hoping for a lovely picture of the finished Christmas Tree (the game is about decorating a tree). The ending was a very damp squib and disappointing to say the least. It was so awful I cant even remember it! No congratulations, no finale just credits.
I recommend this game!

You would think a program which depended on the player spelling words would have every word checked carefully. THe very first word I tried to spell was perfume but the program had it spelt 'perfum'. THe next word was mannikin which was spelt 'mannequin' which is the OED spelling but not much used nowadays. THe idea of the program is good but I couldn't get past the first game as it didn't recognise that I had completed the crossword. THe match three minigame didn't work at all and when I tried to use Task manager to end the program it messed with Task manager. In the end I had to restart my computer in order to get the program started again so I could close it down and delete it. I wish it worked well but it doesn't.
I don't recommend this game.

I rarely bother to review games but this one has really hooked me. It is similar to other mosaic puzzles but with the addition of three layers of colour. If you get stuck with one colour you can switch to another which will probably help solve the whole puzzle. I find I need several attempts at some of the puzzles. I love that the line completes itself when all the positive squares are filled - saves a lot of faffing about.
I recommend this game!

If you already have the earlier version of this game and don't care about the story, you don't really need this. I love the game because the graphics are excellent and the game challenges me. I find the storyline of tarot and romantic novels absolutely absurd and I'd be embarrassed if anyone thought I bought the game for that. THere is only one solitaire game but this version gives you the option of setting up your own screens which is quite interesting and challenging.
I recommend this game!

I haven't played a game that relies on keyboard since the last century!!! No way am I going back to that!
THe game concept is quite good - tetris with word building- but it doesn't encourage longer word building.
I didn't find the letters moved too quickly as the above reviewer did. I had plenty of time to manipulate the blocks with my arrow keys!!!!! Perhaps with mouse control this might be a good program.

I really enjoyed this game until I reached level 4. The second game in this level was not a time management/problem solving game but depended entirely on how fast you could click your mouse.
THere is nothing worse than a good absorbing game which changes the skill set required halfway through.
I have no likelihood of completing this part and therefore will be unable to finish the game. I wish I hadn't bought it!
Being a silver surfer I'm not all that good at speed clicking and prefer the games where you have to think.
