BFG offers a very limited demo of this game. If that's not enough to let you decide if you want to buy it, you can download the entire first chapter several other way online and get a better idea if it's for you. As others have said, this game has been around since 2012 so it is not exactly a new concept, but it is different than most BFG games available currently.
Some reviewers have been unhappy with the helper being a Barbie type doll. I think she is cute and the costumes they've come up with are really fun. The whole game is filled with unique challenges, the graphics are awesome and overall it's a great little game. Give the demo a try and see for yourself.
I love most of the previous Clutter games, but this one needs a makeover. First, there is no option for casual play and there is no option to turn off the irritating moving belt at the bottom of the screen. The objects in the scenes are often difficult to tell apart and there are multiples of the same object even when you only need to find 2 or 3. Objects are often neon colors that don't make sense for the item to be that color. Some scenes all the objects are made up of only 3 colors. It's hard to describe, so just play the demo to see if it's your thing. I'll go back to playing my old clutter games.
I enjoy this type of hidden object game where you play several scenes and then it repeats scenes while throwing in another new one periodically. There is a zoom option for smaller items, which worked fine although items weren't quite as crisp and clear as they could have been. Still, I had no problem finding objects.
On the negative side, there is no option for casual play. There is a timer that goes down fairly quick, but you can continue to finish the level even after time runs out. You just don't get the extra points. That being said, I found no use for the points in the time I played the demo.
I will probably buy this game when Big Fish has a BOGO sale. I just don't think it's worth a full price purchase.
The movements in this game are clumsy and slow. The options menu allows you to turn all the sounds off, but some still come through, at full volume. If you are even slightly interested in what feels like an extremely outdated game, please play the demo first.
I love this series, but this particular one is my favorite. The decorations that you "earn" are better than ones in the other FM games. Actual buildings and fun pets!
This is my dream game...being able to play different versions of a hidden object scene until you master it. With at least 20 different scenes to master, this game will keep you occupied for days. If you are also a hidden object purist, give this game a try....and be sure to click the huge cats.
When I say I recommend this game, I mean that I recommend it for pure hidden object fans. That is what this game is: hidden object, nothing else. There are different ways of showing the hidden objects you are commissioned to find: words, pictures and silhouettes. One thing I love is that you can zoom in to the scene to find those objects that are a little harder to find. The scenes repeat, but this allows you to master a scene and find objects faster and faster. Of course, when a scene repeats some or all of the objects you need to find will be different, but all the objects in the scene (those you need to find this round and those that might be in a different round) are always in the same place. In my opinion, this is a good zoning out game for relaxing in front of the TV.
