There is not anything new in the format or the mechanics and that is fine. This is a relaxing basic solitaire game, like the previous ones. That's why I buy these solitaire games. I wrote the review because I keep seeing awful ratings for these and I don't think they deserve it. You know what you'll be getting with this developer so please, if you don't like it don't buy them. If you're new to this developer, try it, and if you like it, buy and enjoy!
I have all the Cursed House series and have played them multiple times. This one seemed shorter than the previous ones. I finally realized you only have to get 10 coins per level. In the earlier games you had to get 20. I still enjoyed it, but I wish you would bring back 20 coins per level. At 10 it just goes too fast.

I played the previous game like this one and loved it. This one was much the same EXCEPT for the mahjong levels. I hated them. I found I had to play them many, many times to pass the level. If I had known about them I would have skipped this one. I do not recommend this game unless you enjoy playing the same level over and over again for the challenge.

I love it. I have all the Cursed House games. This is more challenging than the previous ones. There were some new twists and you actually have to THINK to finish these levels! It took me more than one day, but I did finally banish the evil spirits. Please, more Cursed Houses.
I recommend this game!

Ancient Egyptian Mythology and Sci-Fi. What Could be better! The storyline held my interest from the start and there are several times you think this must be the climax and the game will end soon .... then it goes on. When it finally ended, I thought, "That's it?" I wanted more, so the developer need to make a sequel. The hints do not hold your hand and some of the hidden objects are very small, but that was fine. I liked both the graphics and the music. I am not sure why the bad reviews, but I'm glad I did not pay attention to them.

Based on some of the earlier reviews, I thought this might be another Surface: Reel Life, but I loved it. As usual, we save the world, in this case 2 worlds, by the end of the story. I loved the graphics and the storyline as well. I played casual, and the challenge level was fine for me - I play games to relax after work. I even loved the bonus game. It followed the story logically and was just as well done. I absolutely recommend this game.

I'm a bit surprised by the lukewarm reviews. I enjoyed the story, loved the graphics and the music. The morphing objects were an integral part of the hidden object scenes - you could not just skip them, which is different from any other game I have run into. There were a lot of hidden object scenes, but I like that. There were some hidden object, some silhouette and every now and then you had to move something or unlock something to uncover an object or use one item to find another - but not in every hidden object scene. The puzzles were not too difficult. Best of all, I got my money's worth. The game was not as short as some others I have purchased. There were collectables throughout the game. The map plus hint button was all I needed to figure out what to do next. I did not need to resort to the strategy guide once. I could just relax and enjoy playing the game. And I usually play just to relax after work. I hope to see more from this developer.

This game reminds me of older adventure games, though there were more hints available (I played on easy mode). You did have to think and yes, the hidden objects could be hard to find, but I did not mind that, I just took my time and kept looking. The puzzles were not too difficult or too easy. I loved both the graphics and the music. One other thing I liked - I could not guess what the story line was or how it would end. With so many games having the same story line, I sometimes know how it will end well in advance and then I get bored - no boredom with this one. I would recommend it for anyone who likes a good adventure

I had to warm up to this one, unlike earlier MCF games, but once I did, I really enjoyed playing. I had to get used to hidden objects all over the scene as well as having to set up some scenes for the drawings. Once I did though I kept wanting to know what happened to these people and that kept me going. In fact, I spent most of Thanksgiving afternoon on it. The map was very, very helpful. The strategy guide - kind of helpful but only sometimes. I did have to go to the forum once and I don't think I should have had to since the game has a strategy guide. One other thing - I appreciate a little humor in a game and the Ghost Patrol was funny. I definitely recommend this game.

My only complaint is that it was not longer. Of course that way I won't monopolize the computer all day. I thought I'd just play enough to see what it was like and could not stop till the end. Wonderful game!
