Take on the role of Emyr, probably the realm’s most famous hero. That is, until his career was destroyed by a dreadful wound. Now, Emyr works in the tavern.
It's one of the best examples of the serving-customers type of TMG I've played. It's enormous fun, imaginative and (joy of joys) no cutesiness in sight. My only gripe is that it is completed too soon and not quite as challenging as I'd have liked.
But I'm sure I will come back to it to play again and again. It's beautifully put together, the dialogue and characters great. Normally the stories in TMs hold little interest and often feel like they were bolted on at the end. But this one really held my attention. I can give no higher praise for the story than to say this: I didn't even mind that I had to watch every cutscene to earn maximum points.

I was in two minds about trying this game after reading the mixed reviews. But I gave it a shot and am SO glad I did!
It's a proper city builder with a lot of competing demands to balance. The "tutorial" is actually a six-level campaign which gets progressively more difficult - the last two of the six levels are tricky but very satisfying to complete.
I'm now a few days in, and onto the "Scenarios". There are over 20 of these and another 20-odd "Endless" mode levels. So a whole lot of playing ahead, and I'm really looking forward to it!
