Jeezes - what a bad game. This probably won't be published since I'm going against one of big fish's biggest contributors - Phennom. He always rate low on challenge, but suddenly this game has a high challenge?!? Yeah, right.
I'm sick of false reviews.
Cut scenes - if you love them, go ahead.
Stupid storyline - if you like them, please play the game
Slow gameplay - who cares if the mirror needs crystals for power?
This game just isn't up to par, but trying to make money for using a Christmas theme...
This was my third playthrough and I realized that I haven't reviewed it and recommended it. This game is a true gem that I will be playing every couple of years for the rest of my life.
It is very lenghty with heaps of places to explore, and lots to do in each place.
It has some challenging puzzles, a few that I had to skip, a good challenge game.
The storyline is so original and awesome, you'll love it!
I play these games for the puzzles and story lines. This one has a fun story line, but the puzzles are so simplistic that a 3 year old could solve them. Very disappointed that I bought it without trying it first. If you want zero challenge, this is the game for you. If you.
What happened to the good old Grim Tales series? They have really dumbed it down. I just played Grim Tales The Legacy and Grim Tales The Bride again for the fourth time and was expecting a challenge in this one too. Boy was I let down.
What a great surprise! I saw the picture in "new games" and thought this might be a five-bn game, and indeed it was.
Oh how I have longed for a game of this caliber and quality. I had 3 credits now - no game has interested me in such a long time as the games we have seen recently, in my opinion, have all been the same, with zero challenge. So I'm writing this as I'm downloading - this is of course a purchase.
These developers are outstanding. The games they create (with love it seems) are some of the very few where I take my time and look at everything in the scenes, watch all the cinematics, read everything and have my headphones on.
The game seems vast and has a lot of tasks.
I have loved all the puzzles so far, I am a very happy puzzle lover right now.
If you haven't already played the Lost Lands series by these devs., then I highly recommend them.
So put your headset on and dive into this amazing game and world.
If you read this, devs., thank you for another great game and please keep them coming.
Based on demo. I was so happy when I saw this new games, as we haven't had a game with any challenge in ages - and I love scuba diving and the underwater world. In my opinion this is a game for children and beginners.
There was some different and fun puzzles, but they are all solved within seconds/a minute.
The HOS were different and probably a lot of fun for those who love HOS, which I don't. I never understood why they are part of a puzzle/adventure game.
From the cut scenes after the demo it looked like it is a long game with different types of locations.
I am waiting to see if someone who has completed the game can tell me if the puzzles becomes more challenging, as it is not a buy for me with this level of challenge.
Hi all. This is probably the easiest game I have seen in ages. I am a puzzle lover and this game was so disappointing. It seems that some reviewers on here automatically give it five stars in level of challenge, if they like the game.
Let me tell you a bit about the puzzles:
Match pairs puzzle - with three (!) whole pairs to match.
Jump over puzzle - with 3 pawns on each side. Did it in hard mode and "solved" it in seconds.
Rearrange books puzzle - with six (!) books, and the solution lying next to it. Done in seconds.
Push the buttons in the correct order puzzle - five buttons, and of course, the solution was lying there on a paper next to it.
Rotating puzzle - where all the solutions were outlined, you just had to push your mouse a few time until it made a sound that it was right - i think a rat could have solved that puzzle if given a reward each time the sound beeped.
I was struggling finishing the demo due to the lack of challenge. I recommend this game for no one over the age of 10, but it might be fun for children who has never played puzzle games before.
The artwork is beautiful, and it is one of my preferred styles, so it`s such a shame that it was so easy.
Easily found morphing umbrellas and jig saw puzzle pieces as collectibles.
For 25 years, you thought you had no family. But one night, a man steps through a mirror from another world, claiming to be your uncle... changing your life forever.
They just don`t make em like this anymore, and that`s sad. I bought both games in the series as I remembered I had played it on my iphone ages ago and loved it. I started with the 2nd in the series (marvellous) and then moved on to the next, The Witch`s prison. First, you have to get over the graphics, which is cool once you get used to them.
The game has one of the best storylines and there are such great puzzles. I adore the puzzles. A worthy challenge.
I more than reccomend this game to a puzzle player who wants a challenge and a cool storyline.
This game started out promising. Then went downhill after the demo. Not for experienced players. There were only 2 puzzles with some challenge. This series used to be so brilliant, I am starting to wonder if Elephant games have fired their best game developers. I do not recommend this game; it is short, has no real challenge and in my opinion is an insult to the series. I do, however recommend some other games in the serie: The bride, Bloody Mary and The Legacy.
