This game was like the rest of the Dark Parables series. I found the story less interesting than I usually do. There were some exciting moments but maybe I'm getting too used to these games. The items collected, especially in the hidden object puzzles, were beautiful and detailed as usual in Dark Parables. Maybe it was lacking a little colour. Something seemed a little dull about it. Hard to put my finger on it. Try the demo and see what you think. Compared to other games of this genre, it is good and that's why I recommend it.

I've tried playing Vacation Adventure: Park Ranger games a couple of times before. This time I was more into playing it because it's summer and I connected with the game more. This review is based on playing the whole game, not the demo. It's a slow paced game without much of a story but it is nice to see the vacation spots and beautiful scenery. I was surprised at how hard some of the objects were to find but as I learned how they were hidden, they became easier to spot as the game went on. I like that you can replay a scene to the get the Eagle Eye Bonus. I did that a few times! I wouldn't buy this game again but it was nice to play once.

I found this game boring because the story was too linear. It was slow and followed a pattern. Enter a room, find and use objects, enter next room, repeat. This is based on playing the demo. Maybe the game gets more exciting but I didn't play further to find out.

While the story was really good, the HOPs were tedious. The colours all blended mostly shades of brown. There isn't a map so it's hard to know what to do next. I really wanted to like this game because I really liked the story but the boring puzzles drained the life out of the game. At the end of the demo, I ended up back in the first scene of the game looking for what to do next and, lo and behold, a sparkling HOP was there. I don't like wandering all over, especially back from whence I came, when I don't know if I'm wasting my time looking for what to do next. That and the boring puzzles make this game one I don't recommend..

The puzzles in this game are the main focus with the story barely playing a role. The puzzles are simple. This might be good for kids but some of the hidden objects can be hard to spot. That's when the Gnome hint comes in handy. It's an alright game but I prefer something more fast paced. While I do no recommend this game for adults, based on the demo, I will say to try it if you have kids who might like it.
I don't recommend this game.

Requiem for the Forgotten Shadow has become one of my favorite games. I think the scenes were beautiful. The objects in the game were gorgeous. The music added a little adrenaline to the game play. The story was interesting. The puzzles were great! I really liked the logic puzzles with the coloured tiles. They were different and made me think but I was able to solve them on my own. The hidden object puzzles were full of beautiful objects. They got harder as I went along but, as a rule, they were not too difficult. There were a couple of things I didn't like. One or two hidden object puzzles lacked colour and made it really hard to find items. Also, the story ended with a page of written words that went by too fast to read it all. I had to look up a video walkthough to be able to finish reading it. Otherwise, this was the best game I have played in a long time!

There was a lot of action in this game which made it exciting and different than the usual. The scenes were attractive and the storyline was captivating. The puzzles were interesting, fun and just the right amount of difficulty. I really liked the twist on action showing the character having to complete some tough physical tasks. It added a little adrenaline into the game which raised the level of the game to top notch.

This was a fun game to play. The game play moved along smoothly. There were interesting and sometimes slightly weird puzzles that were fun to figure out. The story was interesting and moved along at a good pace. There were lots of different locations and beautiful scenes. There were several different characters to interact with which made the game all the more engaging. All in all, a well-made game that I highly recommend.

Some of the scenes in this game had really nice graphics. The idea of finding pieces of evidence and presenting them to the judge was fun. But there were a couple of glitches that almost ruined the game. In the last couple of chapters, the map kept showing places with actions available when there were none. I don't like hunting around for what to do, let alone when it's futile. I didn't like the ending. It was far-fetched.
The miracle of the Green Moon, which flourished with plants of all kinds, had lasted for only a few moments. A cataclysm made the Moon lifeless again. Find out why!

I never did find out what caused the moon catastrophes even though I played the entire game. The storyline is minimal and not exciting. I only got through this game by using the walkthrough. There is not enough direction to complete each action. Overall, a boring, hard game with little to no emotional appeal.
