I love this game series! Hero of the Kingdom 1 & 2 don't work on my newer PC, but I still have 3 and these 2 Lost Tales games. I play them over and over, but they are getting a bit old.
I enjoy the story lines, and the video is extremely detailed, but can still be easily seen. As someone who is legally blind without my glasses, that's a huge bonus! I would love to have more storyline though - as in a longer game each time. Maybe 2 maps worth?
Anyway, love it, love it, love it! Want more!

I absolutely, flippin LOVE this game, and its predecessors! I've enjoyed the "missing tales" as well. I play them over and over. Problem is I can't play 1 and 2 on my newer computer, so I need more games! :D
The graphics are amazing. I have vision issues, and this game is tiny and detailed; yet it is also very clear and easy to see. That takes skillz! I've enjoyed the story lines, though I feel like they could be longer (?). Or maybe that's just me wanting more of the game! It's just the right amount of challenge too. It's dynamic with lots of different puzzling adventures to solve in order to complete the over-arching adventure. Game play kinda reminds me of some of those old Intellivision games (like from 1980 old) where you search the dragon's caverns for treasure, but much more elaborate. Puzzle and reward with a medieval twist. :)
Seriously, buy these games! And someone please make another? Or 2? Or 3?

I purchased this game when I had my old computer. Roughly a year ago I got a new one with a slightly different screen size, so it has needed a different resolution. Now I can't get this game (and a few other trial games that I haven't bought) to work right.
The screen images have this awful flicker in them where it looks like it keeps trying to settle into a resolution (think the lines on those old TVs from the 70's & 80's). I've been able to get some other games to work by altering my general screen resolution, but I haven't been able to find the appropriate one for this game. I can get the flicker to go away if I choose windowed mode, but then it's too tiny to see what's happening in the game.
Otherwise, I rather like it. The story is just a little different. I like the mechanic of having different characters to carry out different tasks. What's different about this game is that you have to figure out (you do get hints) which character you need to choose for which task. Adds a slight bit to the challenge and makes the game more interesting.
All in all I like the game, I just want to be able to see it properly so I can play it more than 10 minutes at a time.
I recommend this game!

With a title including the Cthulu mythos one would think there would be far more creativity than this game showed. It's the same old solitaire they've been tossing at us for the last 3 offerings. I'm not going to buy that. I already have 2 versions of this tired old game.
There was so much the developers could have done with this. So many different Cthulu inspired game mechanics that could have been utilized.
If you want me to buy again, then please come up with a different solitaire game.
I don't recommend this game.
