Audio loud and proud, but just a black screen and cursor. Not so much fun. Can't find any known issues, either. I've never experienced this before, no way to troubleshoot. Windows 11 laptop, shouldn't be a problem, right?
I haven't been able to play a ball shooter game for years; my laptops wouldn't support them because they were all so old. When this showed up I was ecstatic...and bought it as soon as I downloaded it and played for a few minutes. So nostalgic!
Gameplay is a little choppy for me; on W11 w a 17" screen the ball hangs up sometimes. It's probably me lol
Anyway, anyone who likes these types of games should be happy. I like trying to catch all of the extra points and powerups when they fall. I'll enjoy this for a long while.

Before games were simply cloned and rereleased, there were games like this. Chock-full of activities, HOPs, minigames and great scenes (ick on the refigerator lol), real actors...this is my kind of game.
I usually don't like a lot of talking in games, but this was more like watching an interactive movie than wasting time getting through an inane segment of dialogue.
I wish that today's developers would take a cue from this one. It's better than anything I've seen come out in the last ten years.
After purchasing Paint By Numbers 15, I was completely disappointed. The graphics were extermely simple, and the game was finished in no amount of time.
Still, when 16 was offered today, I immediately purchased it. Why? Because it came out so fast after the last one - it had to be for a reason. I was NOT disappointed.
The graphics are much more complex and enjoyable. Very few simple "plate" shapes & more florals and fun pictures.
I was especially touched to come upon the Ukraine graphic, and I'm happy to once again recommend Paint By Numbers.
Thanks to the developers for listening and responding so quickly to our concerns.

Based on purchased game. After buying so many paint by numbers games here on Big Fish, I had much higher expectations for this, because the other games only got better (pictures, colors, textures) with each game release. For example, Art by Numbers 15 is so much fun, and Art Coloring 2 is so beautiful and relaxing and satisfying with imagery that the developer obviously took great care to create, that I often go back and replay those games...this one will go into the dustbin of bad choices.
The background color becomes whatever color you choose for the target cells. It doesn't work well with this game because the designs aren't solid, so what you might think is a cell to color is just the background. Lots of aimlessly clicking around to find the cells to color is really not fun.
Paint by Numbers 15 is a total regression back to basic coloring-book images with zero texture or color blends. I don't get it. You still can't look at the images until you finish the first group of eight, to see what you would be paying for.
It doesn't get any better as the next images are revealed. Very disappointing. I feel cheated, considering what it could have been.
This gets a bit challenging almost right away! I can only imagine how much harder it gets as the game progresses.
It's a lot of fun. The graphics are good. Minigames are fun. Sound & music aren't annoying (though I always turn off the music so I can listen to audiobooks while I play lol)
I recommend that you play the tutorial so that you don't get confused with all of the little details on getting rid of blocks to your progress.
I might purchase this one when I'm done with the demo. It's not just another boring match-3 game.

I own all of the other Clutter games. The sound on this one is horrible and grating. I'm partial to the sliders and box quotes now because the classic clutter game has become a joke - it's been the SAME graphics throughout every version, with very few additions. The "1000's" of games are just different levels of difficulty on the same graphics or items over and over again. Even though Joe changed the controls a few games back, I still had to take time in the trial to figure out his convoluted icons. Why this hasn't been fixed is beyond me. It's the same game as the prior version. And the one before that. Sliders are still a few pretty nature pics with mostly dumb screenshots and boring repetitive patterns. Joe should release a box quote game, or a classic clutter game, or a slider game, but this massive quantity of games just found me sifting through everything to find one I wanted to play. Waste of time. Anyway, sorry Joe. I liked your original concept. Not this.

I really love these types of games; and was excited to play! I was breezing through the trial, got that chest open and then...nothing. I can SEE the thing I need in order to advance, but I can't pick it up. Hints aren't helping me.
I walked around a few times looking for something else to do, but found nothing.
After seeing other reviews on how short the game is, I'm not paying CE prices (even with discount) for something that will be over so soon.
Feeling disappointed with Big Fish's offerings the last couple of months.
I'm loving this newest rendition of paint-by-numbers offerings! I've purchased every Paint By Numbers, Art By Numbers, Pixel Art and Modern Art game available here on Big Fish. They are very therapeutic and calming while I listen to audiobooks.
THIS one is gorgeous! The blend of colors and the artwork (sans the robot and comic art) are "paintings" that I would hang on my wall. So much fun! My only real complaint is that the pictures run out before I'm done with the game :)
LOTS OF PUZZLES! This is a refreshing change from the paint-by-numbers games, in that there are so many images to choose from that one might never finish this game! Each game defaults to switching squares around the board, but I like both the rotation and split tiles options too.
I kind of wish that there was an option to play classic jigsaws, though. I can see this becoming boring after a while. Also, there's no indicator that shows what puzzles have already been completed (at least, under "recently played" nothing shows on my screen. I use a windowed screen so that I can do other stuff as I play. I recommend this game for people who just want some mindless, repetitive activity to pass the time (like me).
