While the game is very similar to other games, I don't buy these holiday games for the gameplay as a priority. I want the beautiful Christmas feeling and this game has that. I agree with those who say it's nice not to have the darkness of an evil elf or Santa. Instead it's a nice departure to a simple (so far!) story line that you can enjoy during this season. If you want a hardcore game that challenges your brain constantly maybe it's not for you. But for those of us who just want to relax with a nice holiday ambience and a bit of thinking here and there, I find it perfect.
Well this was a disappointment. Not sure why it gets good reviews. The story is weak and jumbled and there is nothing to do with Halloween other than a few small pumpkins :( You go from one inane object to the next and find other inane objects that are needed to solve other inane aspects. Very few make any sense as to what they are doing there or why they would work to fix something. Back and forth with few hidden object puzzles, and the ones that are included are so easy. Click and you're likely to hit on something. If you make it a "Halloween story" those buying want to see some Halloween themes. The same old creepy stories could be any time of year.
I wish the game makers would include pictures that actually reflect the Thanksgiving season...it wouldn't be more expensive to produce a game with images appropriate to the name of the game. "Dusk in the Desert", "Morning Chill" "Quiet Night" etc....what does that have to do with Thanksgiving! These are consistently the same for all holiday themed solitaire games.A big part of selecting these is for the imagery that evokes the holiday...please put more effort into this aspect. I can't recommend because of this reason.
