This game is cute and fun to play, but you do not get your money's worth in terms of levels. My game stopped at level 40. One reviewer mentions level 42, but I do not see it. The only extra's you get for CE are a painting thing, a puzzle and a ship thing. None of them are very interesting. I too am not thrilled with the new format. BFG management should be concerned that players are going to Steam to get hints on their forum.
Good game, but at 20 to 25 minutes per level, it is just too time consuming. I got gold on about 2/3 of the levels but do not have to patience to go back and try for the rest. I only recommend this game for people who have lots of time and patience.
A fast paced game with lots of fun extras but I was disappointed that there were only 32 real levels. The extra nine were all "collect the gold" so not much variety. If you like a nice long game, this is not a good choice.
Great game but the Strategy Guide is useless on the difficult levels. The Guide consists of numbered bubbles and steps are left out. But Regular edition should be great when it comes out. Quite a difficult game.
This game is not very challenging or interesting. Same tasks from level to level. Also very short - 40 levels and no bonus levels. In 40 levels I only had to re-do 2 to get gold.
I don't recommend this game.

Not much of a story line, no skip button and altogether one of the most annoying games I have played.
I don't recommend this game.

House of a thousand Doors is just plain fun. The mini games are for the most part do-able, the graphics are good, the inventory is accessible and intriguing - you just never know when you will need something. Getting around is easy using the map and the hints are real hints. The game is long enough but still I could have played twice as long and not been bored.
